I had to smile when Carole (stunner!!) said, "I have good news for you", but yet looked dead serious! (not a criticism, and it was just something that made me smile!!)> Keep up the great linguistic work Carole (and ArabicPod101...)
I want to improve my speaking Arabic skills. I have almost no knowledge about it. If anyone wants to learn Swedish or English and teach me Arabic? We can exchange language.
Using letters t represent "G", "dh", etc is not a very good idea. You should have used Ghain as G^, and dhowad, as Z^. numbers are very confusing and hard to understand. You have to make people learn 2 millions sentenes, all kind, all mode, will take 1000 year to learn Araic. You should start with the basic grammar and build spoken language from there. Arabic is the most richest languge in the universe and you are teaching in a way just "Parots" are taught. Then can only say what they are tught and cnnot make their own sentence. If you teach "I love you" to a parrot, and teach her 'not", the parrot wil never say "I don't love you" if you don't feed her food. That is that simple. The best way for me to learn Arabic is to ask Carol if could honor my proposal to marry her. il-al liq'a
