Nobody pay shit when you sound like a caring angel. Best way after the person identified him/herself tell straight to point on legal consequences for payment default.Propose solving these matters out of court which ultimately saves cost and time, besides lower interest for repayment and discount for lum sum settlement which can also be considered in some cases.State out a deadline for payment then set a near date for them to pay and for your follow up,set about month later. Before you hang-up,always ensure remind them importance of your call and if they not committed, the offer considered expired with immediate effect other course of action including legal options will be taken. Always keep yrself well informed of basics like discount/settlement guidelines from company policy, and most importantly is task management, as you don't want to stay in a circle of mess calling the same bugger in yr system.Other than nosy supervisor and extreme competitive colleagues in a challenging work environment, it's commonly perceive companies heads actually don't care how many calls you giving as long you are deadly effective in collecting. Dont rush merely to get your target per day calls and loose yrself between 2 worlds.Try stay more calm at most times. Act like doing prank calls if you have to and stay positive and disconnect emotions from your calls. You don't ask if it's OK to talk, they would just say no to you. In this case you should be the one who's aggressive because you are the one who's calling.
It really depends on the type of collections you are working. The first rule is smile and dial. Don’t waste your efforts on someone that doesn’t want to pay. Don’t ever ask if they have time to talk.
Lol... This is completely wrong, 10 minutes?? Dang... They don't have even a minute on debt collector's. And when consumer says i don't have time, you should atleast say we do not want to bother you again but since we are talking right now, just allow me few moment so that i can let you know what it is about.
It’s my Personal experience when I was calling in this manner no one ever payed. You have to be authoritative while calling a debtor, or else he/she will treat you like a fool
Some people take full resposibilities paying the dept on time bcoz of their career stabilities for them to wont having any issues that can affect their profession

I'm not A collection specialist but As a bottom level executive when you call client's Remember you have to call them in Early working Hours which means before LUNCH .....first Introduce your self. .. like A best professional then just say in A polite way please can i take A few minutes with you immediately start your saying BLA BLA BLA then believe He/ she they can't just HANG your phone until EXCUSE for EMI then it's up to you .... about the Deadline of pending DUE'S. .... If you make a call like this you not collecting shit. Never ask IF they can pay a collection, ask them HOW are they going to be able to solve this issue TODAY. Otherwise you’re leaving too much room for them to wiggle out of it. Lead the call and the customer will follow.

Just a word of advice don't say the words "ma'am" it makes them irrate and just simply say "don't worry this will be quick just give me two minutes of your time, okay?" It always work and plus always use their first name like miss Charlie or Stacy it's more endearing that way.
This type of video is not correct Technic to make customer pay emi. First of all collection staff must visit customer's place and make a friendly move. Then ask about emi. This must be the essential movement to getting emi amount from customers. By the way, I'm also a collection officer from hdb financial services.

Here in Saudi Arabia if you call STC OR MOBILY landline then u will got an Indian operator agent who talks fast and rude.... plus u don't understand cos accent.. some Indian has a good accent by the way😘

Horrible collection call. FDCPA violation and "possible 3rd party disclosure". Never verified he was speaking to the correct person. You already have the customer on the phone. Make your move and advise of past due and demand payment!
