So here it it. The first tutorial of my wig styling series for beginners. I am starting with the most basic video where I am showing you guys how to put on a basecap wig for cosplay, how to secure it on your head, which wigcaps I use and much more. Hope you like it and my english isnt too bad, I did my very best on this one XD

OMG. Thank you! I'm a cosplayer, and have studied musical theatre, drama, and dance, and have NEVER used the adjustable straps properly. I was always taught that they clipped onto each other to slide up or down the elastic. TWENTY YEARS I'VE BEEN IGNORANT OF THIS!😂😂😂😂😂

That was very helpful. I'm wearing a wig for the first time this Halloween and I didn't know that those two bands were to adjust the wig size! I thought they might hook under my chin or something 🤣

This was very helpful. I am going as Luna Lovegood for Halloween, (obvious, I know) and my hair is not at all blond, so I have to wear a wig, and it was turning into a panic situation because it was a good quality wig, but I still couldn't put it on right. But I think I'll be able to now! Also, your English was fantastic.

This was super helpful, and I've been cosplaying with wigs for at least 9 years. I have very thick, pink hair, and recently I finally gave in and cut it all off. It definitely makes wig wearing easier! I love the methods you used here, and I would love to find a wig with combs. And your English was very good for this video :) You are very fluent and speak effortlessly

Ohh yes thats true. I thought about cutting my hair too, but I am not sure about that xD Just a little tip for you: I like to add combs to my basic cap wigs sometimes, thats a really nice trick especially for heavy wigs. Thank you for this, I know what I did wrong for one of my wigs now. I did a cosplay of a human Majora that my friend had drawn. I had some trouble keeping the wig on my head. It kept wanting to pop up. For some reason I didn't think of using bobby pins to secure it further.

I really needed to know how to tighten my wig, because I'm currently going to a con in April, but I don't know how to tighten my wig. It always ends up slipping off of my head if I walk around too much or do anything that causes me to move. Thank you so much for this helpful video! ❤

Great tutorial. I have one question though. My natural hair has a widow's peak (point in my hairline in the middle of my forehead). It tends to poke out because I secure the wig on the rest of my hairline, which is further back. Do you have tips on how to avoid it?

Jetzt muss ich mich durch die andern Videos auch durch wühlen xD Ich fand das echt hilfreich, gerade die frage: "Was mach ich mit meinen langen Haaren?!". Ich hab sie bisher immer Gedreht und dann quasi um den Kopf gewickelt. Mal schauen ob das so auch klappt :D
