@Echo lol like most tents are made with fiberglas rods. Thats why they come as straight segments and when assembled can be bend into tension

Uhhh...when you are climbing K2, or Everest...it is pretty linear. There aren't a lot of viable paths up those mountains. so this is pretty accurate.

Drae, When you run out of food that needs to be cooked you should leave your stove behind. At that point it just adds unnecessary weight. Likewise when you're on the final push to the summit you can save even more weight by leaving your tent, bedroll and sleeping bag behind. In summary excess weight is the enemy, ditch anything when you don't need it anymore. Case in point, if you had just dumped your tent, sleeping bag, bedroll, stove, cooking pot, ladder and snow stick (none of which were needed at that stage) your stamina usage would have been low enough to make that final climb.

Before any crazy indian comments if there are any watching Drae! I am a Indian and i can say that this mountain is in Pakistani Kashmir and its been part of since a long time! The game didn't want to create any disputes so they labelled it as Nelpal for the funs i guess

I feel like most people do NOT restart their climb upon realizing they didn't bring everything 100% needed etc etc. They either make due until they cannot or something lol. I mean, it wouldn't be very challenging if didn't really have to worry about anything, right? But, it is a game with the option to restart your climb and you are correct, there's nothing wrong with playing the way you want. If that involves restarting for whatever reason, do it and don't apologize for it.
