I wish employers understood that after I learned Java any other language is a piece of cake for me. I's really difficult to become an expert in Java but my understanding of PHP has increased significantly, unfortunately employers seem to not understand it when I apply for PHP positions because for me its easier than Java. They treat them as completely different languages and experience, but there is nothing new in PHP that doesn't exists in Java.
