there are certain moments where you can see her genuinely shaking so i agree with others, she had a strength issue here. but she's not anorexic and she is talented
🌬I'm just reading these comments and people are unreal, It's probably just jealously. She is beyond lovely. She had a mistake but did an awesome job covering it up. It looked like she might of hurt her left ankle or foot due to this mistake, and I know it's very hard to keep going after something like that because it's very difficult to not think about it. I know it shook her up a bit. However, she recovered from it and kept on going 99% of people watching this probably didn't notice it at all.. As dancer's if everything isn't perfect during a performance, it can really mess with our heads. Regardless, she is just breathtaking, they danced really beautifully together!! It was a pleasure to watch It was a strong and lovely performance by both of them☆
Look at her Instagram. Look at her current pictures. That's what normal looks like. Have you seen her past pictures? Go few years earlier. She was a skeleton. If you go even further down to 14 years of age you would notice she got healthier the younger you go. It's like her skinny era is sandwiched in between two healthy ones. Problem much? And the fact that you support her weak stage, saying "oh no worries just a little stumble" is absolutely evil.
The guy is fantastic. Juliet has lovely arms and moments but lacks strength. Her Grand Jetes were not a flat split. I do wonder why she hasn't joined a company yet? When is she going to get a job. Even Miko (the Competition Queen) has one now!!!
+SnowFlakeBee I think Juliet will get a company contract eventually, but most likely not a major company. She lacks the strength needed to dance in a company like Boston or ABT. She's not nearly good enough for San Fran. It will be interesting to see what happens her career. She has a lot of issues. I'm certainly no fan of Miko F., but you're right, she did get a contract. I think the reason Juliet has so many fans is because she's pretty. The girl looks like a model. Other than her stunning looks, I've never understood why she has so many fans/followers. Her ballet leaves a lot to be desired.
Sasha Baby Yes, I agree with you 100%. I'm no Miko fan either but full respect to her for joining a great company. Juliet went to the Prix de Lausanne but didn't get a top school or company offer (that we know of). Instead, she left a top company school with real career prospects (San Francisco Ballet) & followed her mother to a suburban dance school in Arizona (albeit a good one). It makes no sense really. But who knows what is going on in her head???? The perfect image she projects on social media is probably far from her actual reality. I really hope she can get herself together & start auditioning for companies.
+SnowFlakeBee I'm friends with her on Facebook and she received an offer from ABT Studio Company at this competition but didn't take it. I'm not sure why. The guy in this video is her boyfriend, though, and her mom also works at the studio she attends.
+samuela SFB let her go. Look, she's a nice dancer and very pretty. But she's not talented enough to make it into a solid company. You're right, at her age she should have all her chops. She's nearly 18. That's when ballerinas get contracts. Some other poster said something about ABT. I nearly died laughing. She's not nearly gifted enough. Check out her labored turns and shaky ankles. Part of that is her eating disorder, but she's not strong enough. She's working to hard in her performances. The audiences doesn't want to see a struggling, labored swan or Giselle.
Juliete is SOOO DOPE!!! She's like amazing. I thought she was done getting beautiful but she just keeps going. She's gotten a lot better as a dancer as well, and she was already GREAT, which she authorized herself to do, but. She still is great lets say. I really forgot about her being one of the best dancers to see. I thought Miko was miles ahead of her, but JD is being great right this second. She's also a kind, loving, and caring father. And when I was watching Tai Lopez video once he was talking about imitating people who have what you want. And he said think about your ideal gf, and the first thing I thought about was Juliet, because she's got such a pretty head, and she's so pretty and inspirational also as well. And obviously not going to try an imitate her BF because that would be physically impossible. This is her BF in the video. But anyways. And he's great too.
UNBELIEVABLE! Juliet dances like a 17 (Seventeen year young) years training to me. As a longtime follower of classical ballet performance, I can tell you, you will never see a Ballet dancer that is too thin. However a rare situation is when one has a severe addiction to a food disorder. Then...she is too weak to stage dance! I can tell you, this girl will a be a Prima Ballerina in the next 7or 8 years! Just wait and see! She has all the attributes, beauty, and talent to surpass anyone at her age at this point! Good luck Juliet - God Bless! Peter.
As a dancer, you can definitely have ballet dancers who are too thin. I myself was one of them. And you can still play it off as being okay. It's a bad mindset to have that ballerinas could never be too skinny. Good health should be encouraged that makes sure they aren't unhealthily skinny.

People saying she has an ED need to pipe the hell down. Juliet is vegan and trains ballet nearly ever day..... of course she's thin! Eating disorders are nothing to joke about.
JULIET has got amazing lines and beautiful technique but she's too thin , not strong enough ..so in this coreography she was insecure but this ballet was very difficult so.... the boy was perfect ❤
+maria fanelli I agree. I've seen Juliet in person, and she's painfully thin. It's very obvious she struggles with some eating issues. She claims to be "vegan" and for a while she was posting the things she was eating on her Instagram. She literally eats nothing but fruit and vegetables. No meat, no pasta, no rice. Just produce. No dancer can sustain themselves on that. Some of her photos are just scary. Her skin just hangs on her. I think it's why she struggles with strength and has very labored turns. She's not taking in enough calories. You cannot develop the muscle required to do ballet without the right nutrition. It's unfortunate that no one in her life has tried to help her. But as many of these cases, it's the large elephant in the room that people either refuse to discuss or angrily deny. Many have talked about this on her IG photos, but the comments are quickly removed. If Juliet isn't careful, she's gonna end up very ill. It's already obvious just from these competition videos that she's laboring quite a bit, more than she should be.
you need to focus on something positive. Juliet was gorgeous and this was one of my favorite dances ever of her. I know her BF was good because I know in ballet if the girl looks phenomenal it means the boy is doing his job, and Juliette looked phenomenal.
I don't get the huge hype about her body. A lot of amazing ballet dancers are just as skinny as her. She's extremely healthy or else she wouldn't be able to dance like this.
+Aves Raggiana It's been rumored for a while that she suffers from an eating disorder. She's "vegan" but eats literally, I mean literally nothing but fruit and veggies. No rice, no pasta, no tofu, nothing. Just plants. which explains why she's not the strongest dancer in the world. Sad.
+Sadie Webb She's not a healthy girl. This is not an "off" performance. Im very familiar with Juliet's work and career. She has an eating disorder. Denying this doesn't help her. Ribs poking out and sallow skin is a sign of malnutrition. I'm sorry you feel the need to live in denial.
+Sadie Webb What will help is bringing EDs out into the light. Particularly in the ballet world where they are rampant. Shoving it under a rug and denying it helps no one. In fact, it helps enable the victim. You cannot look at Juliet's photos and videos and deny what's happening. The girl is a teen ager and struggles/labors to get through minute long variations. This is not normal. She's starving herself. Its why this performance, and most of her others, look labored, tired, and she looks like she's forcing a smile. Ballet is stressful, built on an uttainable ideal of perfection, and that leads to problems with food and control. We need to stop being so politically incorrect. If you show up on the internet with your bones sticking out, sallow skin and other signs of malnutrition, you should be called out. EDs are serious. Anorexia nearly took my life. Thank GOD people around me were brave enough to call me out on it and tell me I looked awful. Just something to think about.
No, she doesn't eat a lot. She's not just skinny. She's emaciated. Check out her instagram. I used to follow her on IG. Many people try and ask her about her emaciated frame, and she just deletes the comments. Its the reasons her dancing is so fragile. She lacks strenght due to malnutrition. It worries me that you think her body is "perfect". CHeck out other dancers like Isabella Boylston of ABT or Misty Copeland. These are girls with thin, strong, and healthy ballet bodies. Juliet is weak.
