ingredients for vanilla sponge cake
my 1 cup is 200 gms
1/2 cup is 100 gms
1/3 cup is 80 gms
1/4 cup is 50 gms
1) 1 & 1/2 cup maida
2) 1 cup sugar
3) 1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
4) 1 & 1/4 cup milk
5) 1/2 cup oil
6) 1 tsp vanilla extract
ingredients for frosting
1) 1 cup chilled heavy cream - use non diary cream for cakes
2) no sugar - as these cream are already sweet
3) for moisturizing the cake - 1 tbsp sugar + 1/4 cup water
4) Cherry & edible silver balls for garnishing
