I do security, you would be surprised at how bad the camera's are... Parking garages here has some of the worst camera's in the world...Some are in bad spots, some don't work at all, others are weather torn to where you only see blurs, it's worst then you think...
@@jaypriddi And given how much time is wasted in any job today, workers spending time on their Smartphones at work, how many are even watching the camera's?
@@jaypriddi but the cameras are really good within the casino. It makes sense to have good cameras all around. These casino's make enough tat they can upgrade cameras. I have been to Vegas many many times even alone and never felt unsafe. Now I don't know. For sure my daughter does not get to wander around all alone.
Got a lot of holes in the desert, and a lot of problems are buried in those holes. Except you gotta do it right. I mean, you gotta have the hole already dug before you show up with a package in the trunk. Otherwise you're talkin' about a half-hour or forty-five minutes of diggin'. And who knows who's gonna be comin' along in that time? Before you know it, you gotta dig a few more holes. You could be there all fuckin' night.
@@deletdis6173 That is a fact, plus nothing worse that showing up in the middle of nowhere with a stiff trying to find a hole you dug earlier. Things at night always seem different than day. The barrel dude probably from KC.
64 bodies linked to the mob currently found in Lake Mead and I'm sure more will be more found as the water level continues to drop (would be nice if the city would STOP BUILDING already) Edit: Not sure why I said "days" and not "bodies" .
I absolutely hate this city and been living here my whole life Drunk people, mentally insane everywhere, homeless people and combined with smoking and gambling makes people mad and crazy and stuff like this happens and its apparently normal now and no one does nothing to stop it
I work on the strip but I will never be here unless a check is involved. These people are insane and I have a family ... I don't care about partying anymore
Haha me too. Back in 2011 when the strip was somewhat safer I would be out partying till the sun comes up, now you will have to pay me to be at the strip at night.
In 2008 I went to Vegas and my girlfriend who was working on the road was going to meet me there. After parking she came inside and found me. At that moment she decided to go back out to her truck and move it to the casino covered parking. When she got outside she saw three black men at her pickup. One was in the back with her toolbox open and the other two were inside the cab looking around. She hollered at them and started running towards them. That's when they all got out of the truck and started running right at her. She immediately turned around and went back inside the casino. Cops were called, but by the time they arrived the guys were gone with several hundred dollars worth of tools and personal items. I never went back to Vegas after that. That was on the strip at the Luxor Casino and Hotel.
@@PlaywithDaisy no, i'm afraid you are a racist, which makes you an evil ,vile person. Evil, vile people such as yourself have no right to judge others because you come from sick, twisted backgrounds that scews your thinking.
And this is why we need to stop saying VEGAS STRONG and start saying VEGAS STRAPPED stay safe out there and get yourself a gun you all have that right and it's in the constitution. It doesn't hurt to read it.
Maybe stop shouting and educate yourself on critical thinking. This will help you to understand that mass arming the public doesn't stop it crime from happening; it actually does the opposite. Lastly, just because its in the constitution, doesn't mean its morally just or right. Amendments can and have be made.
Yeah that will wotk out well, watch tourism plummet even more. Imagine the lines to get into every hotel, people standing in the hot sun waiting to go through a metal detector with all of their luggage in tow. Genius idea
Was just there last week. Staffing shortage is a major problem as well as the sky high prices. Still had an awesome time. Sad to see this shit, there is no way guns should make it into a hotel
and what if the guy bought in a machete and ended up still hurting 3 people and killing 1.... what... "machete shouldn't make it into a hotel". Or a knife???
Indian casinos have the best security. They are at the entrances and inside making themselves seen. They also patrol the parking garages. I've seen some reviews about "too much security." Been to vegas dozens of times and rarely see security inside except near the tables. You're on your own in Vegas.
Ive been working casino security in vegas for almost 3 years now. Some casinos like the one I work at has plenty of security. There is a major staffing shortage tho in multiple casinos due to shit pay and leadership.
Great point. But not only that - Most Indian casinos are in a more remote location often with very few roads leading in and out. Culprits have little to no escape route even if they managed to leave the property before authorities swarm them.
Since Fremont started checking bags and making you walk thru the security devices, it's now safer then the main strip! Hotels & Casinos are going to have to start putting up security devices like the whole body scan at the airports, and bag checkers before anyone can even go thru!
Fremont is the most disgusting, crime ridden, gathering of rapists and pedophiles you will ever see in Vegas. Don’t bring anyone you love there , they might get kidnapped and raped by the dirtiest people the United States has to offer. It all should be burned to the ground just like the criminals who frequently prey on good people.
Non Stop Daily Shoo ting across the country.. bad hair day, bang bang bang... hurt feeling, bang bang bang... being honk at, bang bang bang... being cut off, bang bang bang... not enough chicken, bang bang bang... too much mayonnaise, bang bang bang... cold french fries, bang bang bang... G un In-fested sh*thole count three...
I was going to mention the mayo, then I clicked "show more" Yup, Junaidi mentioned it. Absolutely insane. We as a country and locally need to fix this. I don't know what the solution is.
Just by your comment you should realize guns arent the problem. The mental state of our country is, entitlement, narcissism, single parent homes, poor education and greed would be the villians you are looking for.
I was the night of October 1/2017 at the Mandalay bay Hotel.was a cab driver doing the stagging line to pick up passage at the lobby Hotel. Long, taxi line, slow moving night from 8.43 when I arrived and the hell start at 9.54 pm up to the time 10.08 when the monster above us spread nine big rounds that shatter the whole building. One month after this my whole hair became gray....and I still remember every night that moment...
@@cheonglee300 Thank you sorry for the late answer. Happened to me that when I finally leave the place with an England couple who didn't know about the issues due the closed acoustic of the Hotel, I dropped them at the Monte Carlo Hotel and there, shaking as a little leaf, with hands and knees totally scratches a Canadian girl crying with trembling told me,please Im Ashley I have no money I was at the festival, my friend was killed at my side, take me please out of here.I couldn't have a whole recording of this horrible scene, cause when I open my LG phone pointing to the Hotel roof I saw the lights of the machine gun and my phone light was so bright that I was afraid to cahis attention, because we,the taxi driver were only 250 feets under his reaching fire.Fear, panic, scary are not the words for what I had,the correct word would be GRIME.Once again thank you so much, God bless your good soul too.
Truly horrible, we stayed at the Tropicana right afterwards and our room looked over the venue. All the people were gone but their possessions were all over the ground, like a silent witness.
It is just going back to the old old days of guns and roses. Wild Wild West, Outlaws vs Sherriffs! Cowboys with guns vs Outlaws! Same, no changes! You can still enjoy the strip, just be ready to defend your turf and loved ones!
Time to raise the room rates to $300 plus per night and keep the thugs away. And I live here. The crowd has definitely changed in the last 20 years, and not for the better.
we usually stay off strip.....but Vegas is all about entertainment and fun and relaxation and I hope it doesn't become just another rat controlled den of animals like Baltimore, Chicago, NY etc..
When I lived in Sinless City for 22 years, for real sin, and safety, I made 80 trips to Tijuana, walked all around the "Dangerous" Zona Norte bar/red light district at night, alone, until 4-5am, and never an incident! Felt safer in Tijuana than Sinless City! And of course, no one will believe me!
when you're male and buying whatever they are selling, sure, you are welcome....females have no choice except to cower and hide and restrict their activity because male animals are allowed to roam.
What we are staying here now and this is the first we have heard of this!! Been visiting from the UK for years but have definitely noticed a significant decline in Vegas, such as shame
Won't do shit and hurt tourism. Think how long the lines are at TSA in airports, now imagine a bunch of people having to wait in lines outside in the Las Vegas sun and heat.
Damn the Vegas strip is very dangerous now . Way more shootings , fights , killings etc . What the hell has gotten into Vegas . It’s dangerous now with the killings now the fights , the high resort fees , high prices in general , has Vegas just lost its moxy for good .
Vegas is Sin City and has a tough spiritual atmosphere. This city is through, too much demonic influence, drugs, and immorality. The whole land of America is defiled.
Every casino in United States should have Metal DETECTORs. Sorry to say but this is our world now. They have ruined it for people that like to carry guns for protection.
I was there at cross the strip at small casino at Rivera l was going to walk to the mirage went this happen but we stopped at Rivera and gamble little bit we are glad we don’t make it to the mirage casino
I’ve heard Vegas has had some issues and I’m avoiding going there this year. From family members that live closer said not to go it’s not worth it. Crime is higher and the homeless population is drugged and out of hand. Idk anyone have a better experience?
@@RockyChomps guess people need to learn to control emotions more... Or know the 5 gun safety rules.... But yea why not let people carry to protect themselves and others....
@@RockyChomps Bad people are the problem not guns. How about start locking up all the criminals for good instead of putting them back on the street to kill again. This administration is the problem first and foremost
One thing I discovered when I worked at the Bay was that quite a few people actually DO carry. Some openly, others concealed. It was really only the openly carrying ones that we kept a close eye on especially when it came to certain individuals. The only other people we allowed to open carry was - naturally - Metro and then MPs (military police), its possible that has changed given that if I recall MGM now has an even worse CEO now in charge compared to the previous one but I might be wrong, I'm going based off my former coworkers who are still working there.
That sucks, what are people suppose to stay indoors forever 🤨 people with guns 👎 guns with people. Whatever 👎 People with guns kill. Stop 🛑 the violence. Be happy✌️
@@mawmawshomesteadpreparedness Exactly. I lean left on many things. Guns aren't one of them. People need to come to the realization that guns aren't going away. The responsible owners far outweigh the bad ones.
