I have number 1, I have a lot of traits of it, but somehow I don’t/can’t usually show it to others or just don’t want to take charge when it comes to leadership. I am the same! Hate hate hate competition - even monopoly I find awful (as a child as well I found it awful). I am socialist to the core, believe in cooperation and mutual support. I have soul urge 11/2 and destiny number 6, life path 19/1(karmic debth👹), and competing isnt for me. Long ago I decided to compete only with myself. And now Im my own best friend. Self love is essential to all. I would say that you will never "get rid" of it. Yet you can understand that it's there and how to minimize it. Just noticing when you start the negative internal dialogue is a way to bring it more under your control.

It's the "long game" each of us plays in life and we go through different levels of challenge, developments, etc as we walk that pathway. The Maturity number is a number that I would guess is what you're referring to when you ask about when it "kicks in." The Maturity is the Life Path + the Destiny or the Expression number (whatever is your preferred terminology) and that number ripens and begins to take flight in the late 30s, early 40s. 🙂
