I know you'll probably get too many messages to ever read this but I needed to share something with you and the community. I started playing my instrument again after a while of not playing because of things out of my control, and I've been playing for 2 years again now. Still loving it, and your channel was one of the biggest things to bring me back. Anyway, today I helped a friend with yard work, and the contractor who was there was a family member of the friend I was helping. He brought me on site for his next job and wouldn't you know it, she was a musician. The contractor said I played and she asked me to show her, so I did. She said these next golden words: "that's amazing, have you ever played on a Steinway & son's?" I was very confused (I'm definitely not good enough for that kind of instrument and that's a weird thing to bring up) I said no. She then said: "would you like to try to play on one? I have one in the house." I mean, who the f*** says no to that?!!!! Anyway, didn't take me long to blurt out yes. Got to the room with the Steinway and sat down. Sounded amazing and the lid wasn't even opened up. I, on the other hand, was a WRECK. I'd had a grand for years but the second I started playing I was SOOOO nervous that I forgot 1/2 my music and I was shaking SO much I was making very stupid mistakes. Kinda laughing and dreading the moment-she invited me back though to play again. All in all, it was an AWESOME EXPERIENCE! (I did eventuall get trough my song) My city doesn't have many musicians so the group is close-knit, that's why I was good enough I suppose. Thank you TwoSet (Brett and Eddy and the community) for re-sparking my love in my instrument. Today, I was able to cross off a listing on my Bucket list. AWESOME DAY! P.S. the contractor also offered me a job but that is hardly the highlight in my opinion :D

So this may sound unnecessary and may look like I'm seeking attention but it's not. Our dog who's been in the family for more than 6 years has passed a few hours ago. I know for a fact that I'm sad but I can't seem to process it correctly. Instead of feeling tears, I feel like I'm having a panic attack, my anxiety ramped up and I feel immense guilt and a heavy weight in my chest. (Even though I shouldn't.) I don't know why I'm feeling this but it's a very stressful feeling, or maybe I just don't know how to cope with death yet. As I am writing this, I haven't slept and that image of our dog lying on the floor letting out his final breath is haunting me. Then I came across TwoSetViolin's new video and it happens to be another Ling Ling 40 Hours video. I know I didn't have the mood to smile or laugh but I watched it anyway. They made me laugh, for a moment I felt like I was free of worries. I'm still mourning over a loss of a loved one but Brett and Eddy significantly lowered my anxeity and sadness. I just wanna say thanks to both them for simply existing and spreading joy to every one of their viewers, musician or not. Brett, Eddy if you two are reading this, I hope that both of you continue these wholesome and entertaining videos. Thanks again.

I played Clementi’s sonatina when I was a kid.Yes, SOME Clementi is easy.And good way to start get into some sonata.All my (Asian) friend who play piano also played clementi before. My most memorable piece is sonatina in c major! Edit: op.36 no.3 Edit2:one of clementi’s sonata in B-flat major op.24 no.2 is actually "borrowed"by Mozart for his Magic Flute Overture after hearing Clementi perform it before Emperor Joseph II in 1781, 10 years prior to writing the opera.

Dude, my mom completely hates TwoSet. She just said that she really blames them for distracting me from my classes last school year and thinks they’re the reason that i didn’t graduate my last year of high school. The only class i didn’t finish and holding me back to pass the diploma was fkn math and i had no motivation to do it, the only 1 subject that i hate the most. I’m very hurt that i’m even crying lol.

I had to quit orchestra for next year because it didn't fit in my schedule and I've been incredibly upset about it. Thank you TwoSet for helping me continue to feel like I'm in a social setting regarding my violin.

i can't believe i only saw your channel like about three days ago watched most of your videos and now i am going to get a violin tomorrow because i fell in love with it.

The finger memes are just so accurate

On piano it's actually much more difficult to play slower stuff from "hand memory" because of how the keys are shaped (black vs white). With fast music, the hand often remembers the physical shape of the position and can therefore run with it. Also, while Clementi did write quite a few Sonatinas for more elementary students, he also wrote some pretty crazy stuff too.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH them playing for the artists was so precious, I absolutely loved it. It was heartfelt and sweet, freaking gorgeous.

Clementi sonatinas are the pieces that stay under my fingers (minus some questionable trills) - so yes, Clementi is easy and light!

Both my parents were musicians, but twoset, their fabulous guest artists, AND the fan base makes me regret my decision to drop music in college. What really hurts is that I didn't make any money in Mental Health. Therapists are the most over-educated, under-paid group. This was such a fun vid. Y'all are amazing. 💕

When you guys said you need anime, my mind started to create a plot for a series: LingLing is looking for two mighty warriors of music to save the universe and tasks Violin-Chan to find them. But only the mightiest can practice 40 hours a day to pass the LingLing workout. Many candidates appear, all worthy. Who will Violin-Chan choose? And then there's some evil guy who goes to the competition and plays Despacito on the violin and creates a black hole of misery. Now all the worry candidates have to work together to close it, for it will swallow all instruments and break them in pieces if they don't. And then there's bubble tea for extra energy.
