@@KevinHallSurfing Whitey was also the drummer on Rock & Roll Animal so I think he was with Lou for more than 1 tour. I'm not sure but I believe this Sally Can't Dance tour preceded the R&R Animal tour and Danny was not on it but replaced by Hunter et al. Most of these guys went on to play and tour with Alice Cooper. Danny also had left Iron Butterfly before their Gadda-Da-vita hit. By the way, hilariously, Gadda Da Vida was born of a member's drunken attempt at singing "Garden of Eden".

@MrCherryJuice
@MrCherryJuice 3 года назад
Glann and John came from Toronto band Mandala, which evolved into Bush (long before the British band of that name). Domenic Troiano (RIP) (gtr./voc.) and Roy Kenner (voc.) were also in those bands. When Bush split, Troiano and Kenner took Joe Walsh's place in the James Gang, while Whitey and Prakash did Lou Reed and Alice Cooper ('Welcome to My Nightmare' era). Whitey (RIP) is also the drummer seen in Bette Midler's movie, 'The Rose'. Weis, originally with early Iron Butterfly, and Fonfara came from the Electra label supergroup Rhinosceros, best known for their hit instrumental 'Apricot Brandy'. Rhinosceros was a killer band!

I was born 20 years too late. These guys are just playin' nasty. Prakash John's bass is a tank.

Prakash lays it down deep and hard. I think he may still be active. Putting it on bucket list. This band was tight.

He often plays with his son Jordan, who's an amazing musician in his own right.

Luv to return to this dazzling intro. 70s Porn staches, low down bass, riveting build up and Lou in his glorious bad 70s self! All heavenly wine and roses. RIP
