Exactly, especially when you consider that ActBlue money is being funneled through his PACs and various money making schemes. That's Establishment money, the very money that Cenk has claimed he's fighting against, and yet his organization is essentially, maybe even literally, funneling this slush fund and probably taking a cut off the top. The Establishment doesn't do that unless you're one of them to some degree, or they have something on you to keep you in line. That's the very reason why they hate Trump, because they don't have anything on him, otherwise they'd have revealed it by now. It's entirely possible that they have shit on Cenk, and they've probably had shit on Cenk for a while now, which is why his tone regarding Trump, especially post his own loss and smears in the media, has been so fanatically against Trump. I think the smears in the media, as well as them denying TYT access to the DNC conference, was a shot across the bow to know your place and bend the knee; that Cenk is now funneling their money to help hide the Donor Class connections probably means Cenk did bow down. Honestly, I think his run for Congress was an attempt to step up to the big plate of Big Money donors, so that he could get some of that action; I think his run was just a stunt, and that the money he's now in charge of to some degree is the real prize he sought. It'd be so fitting for that to be the case with Cenk, considering what an ultimate hypocrite he is; I can totally see him being a minor minion to help hide slush fund money through an organization he uses gullible saps as a smokescreen for. I don't think he's ever wanted money out of politics, I just think he wanted some of that money in his pocket instead. Also, that statement he made about bestiality was totally out of left field, to the point that not even his own people agreed with it; you can tell they were freaked out by it. I think that's what the Establishment has on Cenk; I think Cenk's fucked an animal at some point in his life, and someone high up enough has proof of it. Cenk knows if he doesn't tow the line, he's ruined and disgraced beyond any ability to recover, so now he's compromised for life. Good, he deserves that for everything he's done; he's now a puppet and a shell of a man who now serves his corporate and oligarchic masters as a complete hypocrite.

If it falls solely to grassroots campaigning the Republicans never win an election again!" So his stance on money in politics is purely partisan and Machiavellian.

This was my initial thought too. I don’t trust Cenk, but he could’ve paid on credit and then had outstanding debts. Or not had cash on hand on the 11th. I don’t see that as implausible, trying to filter transactions now to see if I can see balance on or around the 11th. It shows he still owes debt of 2.5k right now. Which means they do have the ability to be on credit at least
