Imagine someone purchasing the Hind as first module in DCS and looking for a tutorial on YT. "Aha, startup in 1 minute, DCS cant be so complicated..." 2 minutes later: "WTF?" And we all know, this is the easiest part xD

That got me thinking: would it be possible for terrorists to train with captured equipment via dcs? I mean sure: maintenance is the bigger part of keeping the helicopter flying, but for the pilot training it should be possible.

@@Lorian667 They may learn possibly. Flying small plane is a challenge but jets and helicopters are a different challenge. They will fly some but loose alot. Maintenance is likely something they dont know so it wont take long for jets to break and they wont have spares. I have 23 years on a range of.military aircraft. They break a bit like a race car. We will see eh.

This is a really useful video. You know, I said somewhere that the Mi-24 didn't feel like a "Russian" aircraft to fly and operate. Well, that was before I learned how to turn the bloody thing on! Honestly I think Win Home's going to be my default but *by god* is this going to be useful if I find myself on a server where some rivet counting, NATOPS spewing asshole's disabled auto start.
