I bought one set when I saw them on the first simpit video. I use only one of them (might sell the other one) - so far, it works great. I just put it on my desk - they are are not slippery, so no real need for a hard mount.

Yes, there is an issue with windows 8.1, but the regedit workaround isn't too difficult to figure out.

One thing : they have some issue on Windows 8.1, due to how the OS is dealing with USB ports, but there is an easy-ish fix : support.microsoft.com/kb/2900614/en-us
