For my new car Tata Showroom quoted 44k ,but in HDFC ergo i got the same Insurance for 22k (1_Comprehensive+4_ thirdparty years) After first year , i got 2nd year comprehensive for just 4500rs (includes no claim bonus)

When you buy a car, you pay 50% of the price to Govt, later you pay much higher prices in thr form of Fuel prices..then you pay Insurance fee every year, maintenance, etc. So, if you dont drive car daily..its not worth maintaining a car, just use Ola or Uber. No parking headache, no maintenance, no cleaning etc.

I have been telling this for the last 6 years to my friends. Unfortunately, nobody liked it. Not having a car is a big saving. We have best alternatives ola and uber. Car is good for the company's to buy because they can claim depreciation as tax exemption. Individuals do not have provision of depreciation as tax exemption.
Bro in perspective of financially it is good to avoid car, but last year i felt from bike and had tear in my shoulder still not recovered completely.If i travelled by car in city then i wouldn't had accident, in another aspect car is good bro as it is safe unlike bike due to badluck even if we have minor accident then we will have heavy injuries. Affordable cars below 5 or 6 lakhs are good. Travelling 30-40km daily by bike in cities is very risky accidents will happen. Car is safe if we do mindful driving.
