I had the Same itching issue with my LOC extensions for the 1st month and it’s basically your hair reacting to the locking process but it will pass. I’m a little over 8 months in now and it’s the best hair decision I’ve made besides going natural. Good luck
glad to find someone new on YT with loc extensions!! my story is the same as yours; i had extreme itching the 2nd week. I was advised to wash it in about 6 weeks, i’m almost there. lol. I’ve been using burdock root oil to help with the itchy/dry scalp and it’s been helping: i’m going to try what u recommended as well. cant wait to see your update !
Oil never stopped my itching when I had natural locs, it was the sea breeze or rose water that helped me. I’m going to get extensions now. My loctician also used the Cantu after she retaliated me, it works too . Not like the sea breeze did though
I couldn’t relate to a video more . This itching is ridiculous lol . I combed out my instant locs and loc extensions last year . Decided to get them both reinstalled recently this year (bc my natural hair was too much to manage) and I’m loving it! (Besides the itching ) Can’t wait to see my progress in a month’s time. Your locs are beautiful 😍
DO NOT USE CASTOR OIL YOU NEED 100% CAPRYLIC ACID OIL LIKE MCT OIL BUT MAKE SURE THERE'S NO LAURIC ACID IN IT DANDRUFF IS CAUSED BY A TYPE OF YEAST THAT GIRL'S ON THE SCALP YOU CAN ALSO TAKE CAPRYLIC ACID AS A SUPPLEMENT TO GET RID OF DANDRUFF CASTOR OIL FEEDS THE YEAST BAD IDEA
