In the fortnite section of the video Id like to update this and say I now only use 2 paddles, the lower right (A) and upper left (Left D-Pad). And I'd also like to retract my statement comparing the Wolverine Ultimate and the Fusion. The Fusions sticks feel faster due to their tighter Xbox 360 feeling tension, but the Wolverine Ultimate has much faster buttons , bumper and triggers. Essentially, everything lol. Just wanted to be concise 😁
Have the og elite with terrible right stick drift, e swap pro (newest) and 2 fusion pros. The fusion pro is perfect love the paddle placement and with heavy use on pubg full time, I’m still shocked that the original fusion shows no signs of any stick drift. Unbelievable considering the price of the fusion pro compared to the other pro controllers
Just before the 4 minute mark, you said that you don't know why, but these sticks are much better for driving games. I have experienced the difference between the wolverine and fusion pro for driving as well, and I have a theory on why. The thumbsticks on the wolverine have a very loose feel, as they are extremely easy to move side to side. The fusion however has the tightest, most resistant sticks on the market. This makes it much easier to make precise movements, which makes steering way better. This has drastically improved my forza skill, and I am now on the cusp of being considered pro. The fusion pro is actually just straight up the best controller on the market for driving games, even better than the elite series 2. This is because the Elite series 2's paddles are way easier to press down and shift up with if you play manual gearboxes, while the fusion pro's paddles are much "harder" to press. The reason the fusion is so good at warzone is because of the same reason: the sticks being so tight. It makes it very easy to be accurate, so much so that I was able to hit a 500 meter headshot on a guy with a bone stock SPR 208.
@@uagev if you're the only one using the controller, the fusion pro. I say this because just yesterday, i had my first major issue with the controller after 6 months. My right stick click no longer functions. I share the controller with my brother tho, and it usually gets used 8 hours a day every day, which has been going on since august.
with the first one, the lb stopped fully working after a few months and after around a month and a half with the second one, the top right paddle stopped clicking in and is extremely loose and wobbly
I'm really just waiting for a scuff paddle variant of this controller. I have to assume the entire paddle module is removable so that they can create other plug and play variants
Mine broke after a month it has this weird problem with the right stick where when I move it left it has my default sensitivity and when I move it right the sensitivity lowers considerably but to stop the slow sense I have to press down hard on the joystick which is very annoying considering I am an extremely competitive r6 player
Bro I'm right on time, I seen your other video on the fusion pro and decided to see if you finally posted the review, thanks for doing the review imma be watching this until I get enough money for this controller🤘🏽🔥
Had mine for about 6 weeks before the plastic that holds 2 of the 4 paddles cracked and broke off on one of them. At that point the paddle no longer stays in place and becomes unreliable/unresponsive. I contacted PowerA and will receive a replacement in 5-7 weeks. Unfortunately I do not have faith that it will last much longer. Apparently I just press down too hard on them and the plastic is too cheap to last under those conditions
A guy in the comments section pointed out that the metal paddles are constantly rubbing against plastic pieces that actually help keep them in, and make them function. If the paddles were a tough plastic, they'd probably last longer
@vCuda yeah I just pressed down too hard on them and I’m not sure if I can train myself to apply less pressure. The plastic is rather soft and will crack and fall off right at the joint in less than 2 months if you play like I do.
After Christmas I got a gift card that allowed me spend 100 bucks on anything and was lost king to get this controller then I remembered that PowerA controllers can’t work with my headset, which is wired.
@@vexliy2.066 I didn’t touch anything, just plugged and played with the controller, I will ping up with the d pad and then it will randomly switch to single fire if I multi ping when single fire is supposed to be the left on the d pad
Great vid dude. I was buying a scuf but a friend pointed the fusion controller to me and this review helped! Also where did you get that awesome flash jacket from!!
@@jpadge5124 yes, but that's how all trigger stops work aside from the elite controllers. They're all gonna make driving slower. Id still recommend it for war zone though, its a great fps controller
Bro, i have a question, what do u recommend more between a razer ultimate and tournament and why, im buying one of them soon, or u recommend me more this fuision pro? From a pro point of view(Srry 4 my english :(( )
Just ordered mine from target I'm pretty hyped to go get it now. Bought a 200$ scuf around last summer/spring and now it's pretty much useless imo. It doesn't turn on without the cord which would be fine if the cord didn't disconnect constantly. (I know it's the controller because I have 2 regular xb1 paddles and they work fine).. I don't even use the paddles on my scuf like I thought I would cause I'm so used to bumper jumper tactical but I think the Fusions paddles will suit my hands better because I don't rest my fingers in the middle area I more or less grip the paddle... So I feel like these are more ergonomically designed for that. I needed something that had interchangeable sticks cause I hate the lil stubby concave ones. So ty for your honest review and a few homies on twitch for recommending this to me. I wish I would've known about it before because scuf is honestly disappointing for that. And sorry for the long rant 😂. Just giving some potential feedback for anybody looking to buy a new controller, I highly recommend you don't get a scuf.
Oh and basically the final 9 inch nail in the coffin for me was on Apex (my main FPS game) it will randomly just input every button it seems and pull up my mini map, inventory, usually the slow text chat thing which takes 15 seconds to close if you can close it. 😐 OK rant over but forreal they are soo overrated and cheaply made for the price.
I haven't seen too many other people complain about it, but I personally don't like it all that much. Its about as good as the normal Xbox dpad, but it seems a bit small, and I occasionally double press
Um, is it just me or when you are building in fortnite or driving in driving games, its kinda of messed up when you have the trigger stops on the lowest setting?
I just got this controller. I honestly forgot I bought it. It took so long to come in. I currently can’t use it because I sold my Xbox for new pc components and I don’t have them all yet.
Personally I prefer the TE buttons. The fusion pro has these extremely loose paddles that just keep getting looser as time goes on. But, the fusion has a simpler paddles design to learn as opposed to the TE,
Well, there both different layouts so it’d be a case by case basis. I’d personally like the TE more, but that’s solely due to me owning a Wolverine ultimate beforehand
Another great video! Quick question though. I've been using the galaxy thumbgrips from Kontrol freek for my PowerA. The only problem is that I've noticed the circumference of the thumbsticks are smaller than the xbox elite 2 controller. I know this because the Kontrol freaks are starting to slip off from time to time during FPS & that shit ain't ACCEPTABLE bro! Do you have any good recommendations on what I could use as far as thumbstick enhancements go? I even tried looking for replacement thumbsticks for the PowerA Fusion but couldn't find anything. Thanks & please keep up with the solid videos you've been doing!!
Thanks man, I appreciate it. To be honest, kontrol freeks are kinda the only attachment that I know of for Thumbsticks, at least off the top of my head. The only thing I could truly recommend is either finding a set of the original Thumbsticks for the controller, specifically the extended one. Or, you could find a busted one on eBay with all the original attachments and whatnot, and just swap out the sticks.
@@vCuda I appreciate your input. I never gave any thought about repairing old controllers that were no longer covered with a warranty until a few days ago. In the process of doing so, I'm now using one of the magnetic thumbsticks from an old Xbox elite on my PowerA Fusion. It fits PERFECTLY on the right 3D joystick axis analog sensor module!! May be the next time you do a video on the PowerA you could mention that. Thanks again! 👍👍
I've had mine for 6 months. The only problem I can report is that the little plastic rings have become slightly rough compared to a stock xbox one controller (its not really noticeable) The only reason I mention it is because you can't seem to buy replacement rings and I'm concerned with how long they'll last. Shouldn't be a problem for most because it comes with two sets out of the box, but my green set was defective (slightly too small)
@@Ajdagoat9 Ive owned the power a fusion pro for 5 months now, it's still going strong and would highly recommend you get it, I would've got the razer wolverine te if it came with extended sticks which it doesn't
@@vCuda it’s quite weird I typically just used an old controller for the mic and it dosent work now so I’m stuck and can’t talk but it’s been since Christmas that I bought it on Amazon ? Is there anyway I can return it
Yes but they arent that good on the thumb sticks because there extra small so what i suggest is you take a regular stock xbox one controller and put those thumb sticks on
