Hi Lauren, You are right. Companies are not fair when they commercialize human hair. As you said, many customers bought wigs because an influencer made a good review (they didn't pay for the wig) and they didnt received the same quality. You need a constant quality because this wig is part of you daily. Sell wigs is a big easy business. I want add : problems can be same for synthetic hair. We are not sure a seller will not sell different qualities. If I am enough good , I will make wigs for you 🥰
Exactly!! It’s harder for people who rely on wearing wigs every day to find a wig that looks realistic but also lasts for a good duration of time ☹️ I find that with synthetics they can also have problems but they’re such a more affordable price 😭
That hair had damage BEFORE you bought it. I have BLEACHED my own virgin level 3 hair to a level 9 and toned it, washed it every 3 days and grew it past 25 inches (treating new roots the same as the length) and I did not have mats or straw/dry hair. What you have is not "dry hair" but lifted cuticle damaged hair they covered with silicone to make it seem OK for a short while. If you actually had purchased what you thought you were getting, you would not have issues with color holding either. Damaged hair doesn't hold color well, losing moisture and color rapidly due to the lifted cuticle that also causes snagging/matted hair.
I completely agree. The hair was damaged and then overly processed to make it look like it was virgin hair when it definitely wasn’t! That’s why I’ve left this video online so other people can hopefully avoid making my mistake 🙁 thank you for your comment though it just confirms what I was feeling was correct 🫶
Thank you for your honesty. I respect you for that. Spending this much money is a Big DEAL. Can you say what company's? Always check The Better Business Bureau as well. I know COVID DID AFFECT COMPANIES GETTING HAIR. This is still not an excuse to not be forthright. Honestly will build a business period.
This was really interesting as I got my first lace wig and the first one just became matted constantly, the company did kindly make a second one to replace it for me which I’ve had for a few weeks but it’s already got split ends and I know it won’t last as long as I hoped when I first ordered it! I use tape and I do think because I have to sleep in it that also makes a difference. I had a Trendco one which I got from the Little Princess Trust 6 years ago and it’s still the best quality wig I’ve had since. I’m hoping to have a look into the Freedom Wigs this year but they are so expensive and again the worry of will they last comes to play. Really enjoyed watching your video 😊❤️
It’s so disappointing isn’t it 😭 it’s hard to explain to people who don’t where wigs why a wig matting can make it look so awful whilst it’s on your head, I had to brush it every hour or more just to stop it which is obviously not great for the hair either 🥲 amazingly my Trendco diamond was the first ever wig I wore and those wigs used to last me close to a year!! It’s hard to find a company to trust with your money unfortunately ☹️ is that freedom couture? ☺️ aww thank you lovely 🥰♥️
@@LaurenNeate I'm in the middle of purchasing a customized wig from Nuola in the UK could u please let me know if that's where you got yours?? I'm a little scared to dish out the money they are asking
I didn’t want to blame the company first, but I also had a bad experience with them. I paid 600£ for a wig that wasn’t even transparent lace anymore, because the lace was stained with dark patches. On the other hand, it shed like there’s no tomorrow, even without wearing it yet, after shampooing and brushing. Not to mention the length, that was a total scam. I ordered 24 inches but it’s nowhere to that… I measures every single part and it’s no longer than 22 inch. Sad….
I sadly feel that companies don’t fully understand the nature of making wigs! They’re not just another fashion accessory for some people they are a complete sense of security and confidence and it makes me sad that they can get away with charging this amount and not delivering what’s promised! I hate to talk negatively about brands but more needs to be said to protect people buying wigs for medical reasons 😭 I’m sorry to hear you also had a bad experience 🥺
I got a wig from Nuolawigs . I was sent a wrong wig it looked like a defect. A lot of bald spots on top. I sent it back but never got a refund . Think 10 times before buying from this company. I didnt wear it or damaged the original state. They refused refund because i sent it a bit later than 14 days . Its a lot of money for unprofessional company
It is interesting that it lightened… That original color could have been gotten from darkest brown or even 1B hair so why did they fry it to 613 before dying? That’s just strange to me.
I actually have no idea I always thought the same! Any other wig I’ve had that’s lightened goes more of a dark reddish/auburn! Never had one go this blonde before 😭
Human Hair wigs are very frustrating for all the reasons you mentioned. To me, they last a lot longer than even good quality synthetic wigs. But I find my Chinese/Indian hair wigs that I have tend to matt and fade faster than my European hair little princess hair. It's such a shame they don't last longer for what you are paying and the benefits you get from being able to curl straighten whatever
The best quality hair I’ve seen had been European hair however when it comes to wigs it’s the most expensive hair to get 😭 I find Indian remy hair does tangle and fade but usually not for a good few months of wearing which at that point I don’t mind so much! I guess it’s finding the balance ☹️ wish it wasn’t so hard to buy a wig 😂♥️
@@LaurenNeate Definitely agree, the cost of European Hair is mental. I only have mine because it's a little princess one and they give one a year to under 25s
@@gabrielladennis4639 I think the one I had was partially from the little princess trust too! I had it when I was really young and it cost something like £2500 😳😭 actually insane!!
Because if you scroll back 1 month ago you can see where the wig is from and compare it to this video. I have avoided using the brand name in this video as it’s not a positive review
I mention the name in the first video I posted. They have asked me to remove the name from this video which I’ve done as they are a small business and still learning however I’m leaving the review here as I did effectively lose £600 and I don’t want other people to have the same problems x
