Oh yay! Zeesea! They are a Chinese makeup brand and have interesting themes, STUNNING packaging, and incredible quality. They also do mystery boxes from time to time. I have a few of their pieces and absolutely love them. The big thing about Zeesea and other Asian brands, is it's very subtle washes of makeup. Their highlighters are meant to be used on "glass skin"/bare skin, or blended into your blush like you did, for a subtle glow, and their eyeshadow(I have several compacts), can be a light wash, or built up to be bright and bold. With bold lipstick, if you pat it on with fingertip instead of swiping it on, and pat on gloss after, you can get a blotted lip look that's more subtle. I love how much fun you have with this box, and the final look came out so pretty. I can't wait to see the next one. I'd love to see you do an unhinged unboxing wearing that Olive multichrome, and maybe another with that Pink multichrome. I can picture you having just a light wash of it on your lids for a pop of shiny. Glad you got some relaxing time with your husband, and that the boys had fun at the grandparents.

This box and P Louise are definitely the ones that you enjoy the most, and it’s so much fun to watch. Even if they’re not “every day”, the boxes are good value and you love the choices they include
I got the P. Louise and it was awful. I got a blush, clear lip gloss, a highlighter 5 shades too dark and a lipstick palette. A lipstick palette? Who uses that? Definitely not worth the $65.
That weird pickle color is called Chartreuse . It's always been one of my favorite colors. It was super popular in the 60s. Dresses, curtains, couches; pretty much everything came in Chartreuse.
Tbh i am surprised that ipsy doesn't market to an older demographic. At 50, I appreciate higher end skin care A LOT, and I regularly finish the skincare products, which genuinely saves me money & I do enjoy the textures, scents, etc of a luxe lotion, mask or cleanser. I doubt most products are worth their retail price, but they are usually a steal at $8 (the rounded up amount I pay for each item). The makeup, even when it is a natasha denona palette or a coveted new product, is purely the cherry on top. I gift out a few things, like mascara and most eye cream, but it's a perfect balance for us olders. Yet they market it to a much younger demographic.
This is what your Ipsy “Adventurous” profile should have received, instead of just…another clear brow gel and black eyeliner. 😂 You should do an OTT Barbie look and go see the movie. I bet you’d look so cute!

I'm very excited for the Barbie movie! It looks like it's going to be an introspective, slightly existential exploration of a longstanding icon and feminity in general. At least I hope it is! I imagine it will also follow the "Heroine's Journey" story arc as opposed to the typical "Hero's journey"
The one to differentiate Chinese and Korean is that Korean looks more round and there's more "O" looking characters for an easy way to tell. Chinese is way more complicated. Japanese is a whole other thing of many ways to write like hirogana, katakana, and kanji. But anyways, Zeesea is a Chinese makeup brand

This box really appeals to the magpie in me (ooh, shiny!!)😅 Also, I can tell you from the hundreds (unfortunately, not exaggerating) bottles of mainly specialty nail polish that I currently own, duo/multichromes show best under really diffuse lighting, like when it's cloudy outside. They just don't look anywhere near as good under direct light. The exact opposite is true of holographic pigments and shiny glitters, so the solution is just to wear them all at the same time!😅

I love this look it is so 80's and kind of candy. Eyeshadow should not look so delicious. I think it works though. I am glad you are having more fun with makeup
Honestly, I think that the PayPal thing could be a blessing. No longer have the disappointing boxes and try new ones. Also a good chance to try to empty that subscription box closet 😂😊
This is def a fun box. I'm just not sure I'd use the stuff that comes in it enough to justify subscribing to it. Like with Ipsy, it may be boring, but I do actually use most of the stuff I get, so it's worth it to me. This one is def fun to watch people unbox and try on though. I love the look you did with the products, so fun!
I know neutrals are more your comfort zone, but I cannot express to you the raw serotonin I get watching you play around with color and having fun doing brighter makeup ^v^ 💕
OH PLEASE 🙏 PLEASE 🙏 PLEASE 🙏 consider doing a video on either some products or a mystery box or sub box from ZEESA COSMETICS I think you will love them and the way you come up with such gorgeous eyelooks I think it would be so cool. I love eyescream beauty box they just kill it every month.
This makeup box is great, you don't get hugely well known brands but the products seem to be really good. The eye look would definitely be a good look to go watch the Barbie movie in, 😂😂 my Barbies in the '80's had similar looks 😂. Thanks for sharing, the bright colors really do look incredible on you. You get 3-5 full size items and there is always a pallet of some sort. Just in case you didn’t know about that one as well. Thanks for sharing ♥️
I own a small coffee shop, and had a customer ask for a Mexican mocha. I didn’t have that or a clue what that even was. And he told me it was a mocha with cayenne pepper in it with cinnamon. I told him next time he came I would have some Cayenne pepper for him. We got some of the pepper and when he came back he got his Mexican mocha and his wife got something different. I told him I was learning to let me know how he liked it and when I needed to change. When I went to label their cups I wrote “ Cayenne my Best” on his cup and that’s what he calls it now. I think I’m a comedian. You said “trying my best” and reminded me 🤣🤣 Also that box is amazing!!

Alexandria, two words, NAIL WRAPS! Look of polish without the mess, dry time, or chipping. You can find them sometimes at Marshalls/TJ Maxx. I have duo-chrome Dashing Diva ones on right now what I got at TJ Maxx.
I've never seen Zeesea in boxes outside of their own monthly box. I have some palettes from them that I really like more for the packaging than the products. Their Alice in Wonderland palettes are gorgeous. The makeup is fine. It's made for much more subtle looks which I don't hate. If they are private labeled, which I don't think they are, they put the extra mile into their packaging. Zeesea and Flower Knows are hands down some of the most beautiful compacts I own. I would pick them for Florasis because they are so much more affordable that Florasis.
You totally pull off the vibrant colors. You are absolutely beautiful and sometimes I feel like you don't know that. I am not trying to be weird, but I have noticed that you get down on yourself sometimes and I thought that you maybe my comment would convey how your fans feel because we love you.
I so badly want to get this box for my daughter. She absolutely loves makeup and I know nothing about it but these are so fun I think it would be perfect for her.
I'm the same with high impact eyes and mostly low key lips lol. I've grown to love my hooded eyes because they make "full glam" eye makeup look more office appropriate since there's just a sliver of color and shine. I wore some awesome mint green sparkle on my lids today & did matte shading with more greens (thank you natasha & ipsy), like I'm a young mermaid and not an empty nester haha.
In the 2 eyescream beauty boxes I've received since subscribing, I have been more thrilled than 7 years of ipsy! Love them! Better step it up ipsy ( not change everything to "appear " like you have, but really step it up).

She has been my go to for easy hair styles for thin hair!! She has a bunch of diff techniques to achieve that full/thick looking messy bun but with thin hair!! She also has a lot of great advice on anything to do with hair care + a lot of other cute style tutorials!!🩷🩷
I loved this box! I was so excited when I got mine and opened it up. I was shocked at the pigment of everything and how buttery the eyeshadows and highlighter were. And the lipstick is my new favorite to wear, it is my go shade when I buy my own lipstick so I was so excited when I opened it.
