Thank you so much!! Yeah valk is just a different breed. She’s a mix of so many legends like horizon, pathy, scanner legends, assault with her tac, quite literally a Jack of all trades. I love her. I think winning fights requires you to be calm. Once you’re able to be calm, you can win almost any fight.

@@SonyxApexGuides that's the best characters! Movement and assault tigether, that's one of the reasons why I main rev cuz his Q is a movement and the passive and ult is perfect for fighting and someone like me who always push lol.

Heck yeah thank you for such a kind comment! “Majestic”- I love it hahaha. And on the settings, check out my complete beginner’s guide (it’s a few videos behind this one) and it has both MnK and controller settings on there for ya!

Staying calm during fights is something that you’ll develop over time with enough hours put in. Think about it like this, when you first drove were you calm? Probably not!! I was freaking out the first time I ever drove a car and someone else was even helping me out! But over the years, you can probably drive like nothing and you’re calm while doing it, heck, it’s probably calming TO drive at this point. But imagine you drive once a year. Probably will feel nervous every time you’re in that seat. See that? It’s all about how consistently you’ve done it. Good practice not only makes perfect, but keeps you cool, calm, and collected. ❤️

I think over time you will develop not only hearing the enemy but you start to pair that up with situational awareness and knowledge of how people play over time. For example, if you always have to listen and think, hmm if I were the enemy how would I push me? Then most of the time, it works! People take predictable routes and usually go through the path of least resistance. You’ll start to hear audio cues and guesstimate correctly where people are at :)

Valk does feel freeing to me too

I also activate her jets so often when trying to go for wall bounces and b hops. The way I’ve managed to fix this sort of is to just go back to the roots and hit spacebar with her movement in specific to reduce the chances of jet activation. Octane’s stim is something else hahaha. I actually thought about how insane it would be if valk’s passive was as fast as octane’s run, that would be absolutely broken 😂 I guess it runs in the family hahaha, every valk main is usually an octane main too 😂😂

I think partly because valk can take any height AT WILL. Horizon, pathy, these guys can take it once max. Valk can KEEP on taking height, give it up, retake, it’s quite scary. Fighting a good valk is something I never wanna do.

@@SonyxApexGuides Yeah the only other character that can sorta do that is rev. But with rev it’s gotta be a flat wall (for the most part.) Valk can just go anywhere, and it’s a lot of fun lol

@@SonyxApexGuides Stim + jetpack would be a dream haha. But yeah, both valk and octane a very freeing and flowy characters. Other characters such as path, wraith, and horizon are much more “one time use” feeling characters (aside from horizons passive)

Oooo another valk main I seeee! Thank you for your kind words 🥹 Her tactical rockets is actually more powerful than people realize. Here’s a rough summary of what they can do: 1) Advancing a push: use the tac to create a push for your team. Barrage the team when they’re behind cover or in their general direction, and call out to your team if you hit or stunned one while pushing. Many people will scramble when you do this so it creates an opening. In a similar light, you can use the tac similar to Bangalore’s smoke or mirage’s decoy. It gives your opponents a distraction while you reposition to a new angle and can fry them from there. 2) Retreating back to cover/safety: use tac to fall back if you need to create some distance to heal. The tac is a great tool as you’re running away from a fight since many people will dodge them which that extra second can buy you a ticket to either ult, Evac, etc. 3) Secure a knock: personally most of the time, one of my favorites is when you get someone one shot and use the tac to secure that knock. I’ve done this a handful of times and works great. Similarly if you knock one already, and they’re rezzing, you can time it in your head and can secure a reknock PLUS stun the teammate for the push. This is just a quick summary, but I’m coming out with a complete valk guide where I discuss her passive, tac, and ult in simple and advanced details, so please stick around! Thank you so much!
