This primarily looks like a financial disaster as no margin of safety is considered and also after a few years the maintenance cost will shoot up. Power tarriff remains same.

Wrt financial modelling for a solar plant in 5 hectares land in Rajasthan with 330+ sunny days, I wanted to know the investment required, annual revenue and net profit after taxes. Also what should be the ideal power generation capacity. No loan required in the capital structure.

Your tariff rate is wrong govt pays only 2.748 so according to that if we considering the interest . In 25 years project will not able to pay interest nd forget that revenue will return the investment

tariff rate decided by bidding process, it varies state to state or on project to project, I considered 4 for just example at that time it was approximate 4. you can calculate as per actual tariff. If you find unviable then should not go.

Hi.. Thanks for the video, I see that by KUSUM yojna we can get 60% investement form India govt . Is there any specific reason why you didnot mention that in the video ? Can't we not rely on that yojna ?

In KUSUM, you will get subsidy only in agriculture water pumps, not on solar power plants of .5 to 2 mw. please read once more the policy document.

1 Mw generates 14 to 16 lakh units per year if tariff is 4/unit that you will get revenue of 56 to 64 lakhs.
