i m from romania, the metin 2 community is smaller nowadays but still pretty large for such an old but beautiful game. didn't know there were still people playing it outside of romania like this much.. good job with everything.
I agree, such a good game that so many players are left. And I feel like more and more players are joining becuase of Gameforges new marketing, so hopefully we will see even more players in the future! 👌
@@metin2ukvideos615 I remember when I played Metin2 the first time... Their marketing was amazing, they were quickly expending and adding new servers for new countries. Everything was full, then something happened and people stopped playing - me included. I believe it was with the introduction of the shop and also the endless grind without a proper endgame.
@@SomebodyLikeXeo Yes, I am not sure either why the sudden (huge) drop of players, but your suggestions seems valid. Hmm...think the game was not updated enough back in the days and people were tired of waiting. But these days they implement ALOT of new updates very regularly thankfully
Your videos are very helpful man for someone like who have left the Metin for many many years and trying to get back to it again and doesn’t know exactly what to do , thanks a lot for you putting the time and effort for this really really helping me much love !
This kind of beginer friendly videos are SO important for the community to grow. And evenfor old players that played when they wer very young (like me) and didn't really understood what was happening, this series are a golden mine. Tysm for this !!
Ay bro, keep it up. For me as an experienced player it was still helpful. I mean I know my ways of farming, but it was fun to watch some1 start from 0 :) I search for these vids, and I hope you won't stop at lvl 35 or some shit, like most of the players do here on YT
Hey! 😁 Glad to hear! I have stopped at lvl 30 now for about two weeks. But now after that I will carry on to other levels 👌 Hopefully I can get those videos out soon
Honestly i come back to this as metin2 was my childhood mmo that i played alot, i still play it every now and then. I would totally keep watching this series if you kept uploading ive watched these video's a decent amount of times already :)
Nice man i'm a french player of metin2 since 10 years and i love your videos even if it's low level gameplay, please do more videos i'll follow u for ever
i been trying to play this game for years but never got into in bcs late game like lvl40 for me i didnt know how to make yang and i would stop playing and start again few month later so i really like this video and i would like to see alot more i would help me alot
1:48 I challenge the all INT Shaman build (unless you are planning to make just a buffer Shaman who will never slap a Metin in their life). As someone who has played a Shaman for 10+ years, I have some knowledge to share. By default, Mages always have weaker damage compared to the other classes. For a strong soloing/farming Shaman, you will want to split points between INT and STR (yes, STR, you read that right). When fighting Metins, using your weapon as main damage will serve you better. This is because weapon attacks are much faster than skills that have a cool down. Add in an armored horse, and you can cut through Metins like butter. As a Dragon Shaman, usually you should go with Dragon's Aid, but since the nerf, go with Reflect as your first option. For a Light Shaman, you will want Heal or Attack Up as your first (which ever one you don't pick, make it the second to master). Think of Attack Up as a Shaman's version of Aura of Sword which will help them when farming Metins. Invest the money and time into making a great bell to use. You can use fans, but once you get an armored horse, you will always want a bell. Once you have your first buffs mastered, it is up to you whether to go with mastering all your buff skills first, or your attack spells. Personally, I would master all buffs first, as they are more useful when with groups. Plus, it is the strongest aspect of a Shaman as their attack skills are lacking.
@@hasankarakus6456 Because Reflect reflects a % of dmg back onto the attacker helping to do dmg to the mobs while you kill Metins. You can do either method with the point distribution, it doesn't really matter as they stay pretty even as you level. You can master Blessing after Reflect as it is still very valuable.
@@angelaengle12 if you dont mind i have several questions to ask since finding an experienced shaman player is really hard. 1- is it really worth to have a dragon shaman to farm? is it better (or even with) than body warrior or weapon sura? 2- do i need to invest real money to this game (ofc you will need it for every class but should i pay more while playing shaman?) 3- do i have to reset skills or the stats afterwards? (like after reaching 60+) 4- what bonuses should i get on my equipments?
@@hasankarakus6456 1. Up until level 35, it doesn't really matter. After that, Warrior and Sura (body warrior and weapon sura) are better suited for farming because their dmg is way better. 2. As far as skill books go, no. Shaman books are the most cheapest to buy. Especially Light Mage books. Mage armors are harder to find in shops so you usually have to build your own but are also cheaper than Warrior and Sura armors. As far as stats go, the money is basically a casino gamble. You could spend hundreds of dollars trying to get the perfect stats on a weapon/armor. Which I see as unethical. You literally might as well say 18+ because your odds are equal to a casino. I'm talking about stat adders and changers specifically. If you get a +9 Mage armor with a broken stone, you have to spend money to remove it. 3. No, once your STR and INT points max out, invest in CON fully as this helps with survivability (increasing HP pool). 4. INT +12 is great for weps. Most important I've encountered if you're going PvP build is to get "Half-Human +15% (If i remember right) in a level 65 fan +9 BEFORE you upgrade it into the Demon Fan so that stat stacks. Demon fan has Half-Human as a natural stat that increases the more you upgrade it. But, if you roll the stats on it, it is internally built to never give Half-Human as a stat added on by the stat adders. This is why you must add that stat in BEFORE it becomes Demon fan.
I just restarted playing metin2 after like more than 10 years... on the RO official server . I always gave up cuz i didnt know how to make money without losing too much time... i followed ur video and basically from 3 hrs of farming with 3 accounts( except the one i was collecting the stuff with) I made 3kk ... im repeating the process tomorrow with 3 more lvl 10 accounts as well! thank you!
i played metin 2 from 2007 to 2012, i'd say im experienced enough to comment about it, if you start playing now for the first time you will be overwhelmed by informations, after you learn its just gonna be a matter of time :)
Nowdays I wonder if you can start from 0 and get some progress (not crazy progress) without throwing cash into the game. How are you supposed to play when max level people get CRAZY good gear on a lv 20 farmer and go map1/map2 with him? What are you supposed to farm? What are you supposed to do? Play for a year so you can get to your first G or something?
Its actually growing at the moment, I see new players every day and that's why I made this movie, for the new players. I will still recommend to start your first character in Jinno but Chunjo is sure getting more and more shops 👍
my guy left starting zone after 20 min of gameplay xd no questing? these starting sword seems op. is that offical server. also there is autohunting in the game? O.o
You're making me want to start playing metin2 again, on official servers. I'm from Italy and i think the italian server il almost dead, do you suggest me to start on Universalis?
@@rootkind this is my steam account, i play on universalis from steam, but its still UK server, add me, if not it will be kinda hard to meet as the chances of both being online at the same time are quite small.....steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198144005796/
Hi, it's been a while since I played the game and now I have a macbook so I dont wanna go through the struggle of installing windows. I am just curious what is Universalis? Is it a new official server from Gameforge? Also how comes you can already sell equipment at such high prices because the items you sold in the shop were not that rare I guess, or with no bonus. I might consider playing a bit :)
Your vids are amazing man, they have extremely helped me in the last couple days going from barely making 1m to making over 150m in only 3 days using your farming techniques, keep making amazing awesome videos👍👍👍
Hi. I began a warrior, but I don't know if I did the right stats. I'm at level 23, but instead of only going on strength I did 2 str 1 vit, is that good or do I have to reset and do full str?
I played this game way too much back in the day, I really mean it. Have great memories due to the social experience, other than that this game is dreadful, fucking bad and I’m not even talking about the item shop. Seriously it’s a miracle Metin made such “success” I can call it that because for game that bad it is a success
I have played wow but really couldn't get Into it. OK many things to do many mounts big community raids etc.. But really man I prefer metin over wow or even black deserted
@@reneyone2609 i respect that. Just to add one last thing to the discussion.. Metin is in my opinion completely unbalanced, the classes items etc. if it was balanced well the game would be so much better and much more enjoyable. Plus Metin gets really boring with having little ways to make yang compared to wow for example. It’s a very grindy game only for the toughest of players. But again mmorpg is about multiplayer and Metin has the greatest community, maybe toxic but fking great I loved people there
@@szaman43ks Then we respect each other aint that just perfect? Yes metin actually has one class and its warrior (unbalanced as you said) but the thing i love about metin is the trading and that a lvl 30 char can kill a lvl 60 char or even higher if you have good gear on him.
Been playing on this server for a year. Prices are ridiculous. Hope they will give us a new permanent server in 2020 asap. Also questions to anyone who’s good at this game. Does pentration soul stone works on mobs and metins? Does wind resistance works with mobs in M2? Has anyone tested it?
so, you playing on official server, not private ? I want to play too but im looking for private servers (i am Turkish btw so i dont know eu or other official servers)
Hi from Romania!Nice videos👍🏻Can you make some “let’s play”/videos with growing level at horse from level 1 to level 20-Military.I will appreciate your videos.I want to play this metin, because Metin2 Ro(our server),it’s full with gamblers/helpers(youtubers) with trading item from other servers. It’s disappoiting to see can’t do something without money.Especially in our country where we have low salaries and our Metin official it has become a business..
I played the UK server for several years before starting to play on the Romanian server. It's a huge difference between these two communities. The first difference is in regards to the population of the servers. By that I mean, Romanian servers have a better market where you really have the chance to find almost everything that you want. You have a market where you can really sell your farmed items. On the other side, the UK servers are pretty empty. The market is pretty poor but this is not a bad thing because you find very easy gaps in the market and to make some money. During the time, because of the market from the UK, you start to get frustrated because you will stay with your items in your inventory. The second difference is the community. The UK community is amazing, you have different nationalities that you can play with. There are not that many kids playing on this server as you can find in the Romanian servers. I would move again to the UK servers if I could, but I worked so hard for my account in the Romanian servers that I could do these changes. Only thing that I could do was to change the language of the client into English and idk why, but motivated me and brought some good memories from the past: :D As a conclusion, it's up to you which server you want to start on, but bear in mind that switching from one community to the other it will be a very tough process.
Not on every server ... I play on RO server romania and I have to pay for that , but I keep watching you r videos , coz ... I dont know , I just like it :)
Normally it's free but you can only attack, if you want your character to use potions or skills then you need to shop a 7/14 days (if I'm not wrong with the period) to use them.
Sorry I will most definetely not. Im doing the final step of my masters degree in chemistry whilst reading courses applying to jobs etc and its just in the meantime I can edit Metin2 videos 😅 Sorry but I do not simply have the time right now. I wish I could
HI, I have one quesiton for you. I´m a new player and I don´t know the prize of items. Where can I find prize of all items ? Or can you help me with this ? Thanks
I've been playing this game for years then I quitted. I feel its very hard to play if you are in a solo mission. Do you still play or have a team to play with? I'd like to join other players to feel less alone.
I have kinda always played by myself, but the game gets soooo much more fun when it includes other people. At the later stage of the game it is kinda needed to be a group in order to kill the hardest bosses. And I think that is good. Most people are happy to group up
Hey! So i''ve been thinking about coming back to official. Is this international server on steam? Am I able to use the method of multiple account on steam? If not, then I do need the gameforge launcher right? The item prices looks pretty absurd (Used to Metin2DK prices), do you really earn yang that fast? To change skill-set, do I need to pay real money for that? Can't remember :P
Hi, good questions!! This server I play on is an official one yes. Its the same as for the Steam users. Its called "universalis" at the moment. Using Steam makes it more difficult to use multiple accounts yes, its very easy to download/use gameforge launcher and I would say it is needed for playing Metin2, much easier to being able to buff yourself. You do not need to pay real cash in order to advance. I played for over 7 years before I use any real money, that said. You can progress at twice the speed in the game for pretty small amounts of cash by buying "theif gloves/EXP boost", but its not necessary. Skill-reset does just cost in-game money "yang" :D
