All I can say is that I'm so eternally grateful to God and Kripalu maharaj ji for giving me living Guru in my life i.e swamiji. I'm so blessed to be associated with swamiji, who is helping many people like me to wake us from ignorance and walk towards light of divine knowledge. Pride and ego are the main obstacle in spirituality. It prevents us from going to God and surrendering ourselves to the divine. So to overcome the clutches of pride and ego ,we should practice devotion, surrender our mind and intellect completely to God whatever challenge may come and always think that God is the doer, He is our father and He has given everything to us. Without His grace we cannot do anything. All my progress is due to His grace and all failures are due to my own fault. By doing this we can experience true humility and lead a harmonious and fulfilling life.

Pride is the last one to leave prior to god realization. Absolve Pride of doership. Be humble and accept shortcomings. Virtues are God’s. Got overwhelmed with the ashwathama story. Surrender to God to lessen the impact of your past karmic actions. Don’t take the pride of doing good, it will tarnish the heart and undo the good deeds. Kind Raghu’s story is really inspirational. Swamiji has given as very beautiful explanation on humbleness with powerful examples from the scriptures. We must always keep this awareness in mind that we are an insignificant tiny part of God. Whatever we possess belongs to God. Without the energy supplied by him, we can do nothing.. We must never be proud of our deeds or our possessions. Pride is ugly. We are not the doers, God provides energy to do it. God sits in our soul gives us energy. If God leaves our soul for fraction of second, we would become inert. Our life cease to exist. If everything energy, intellect provided by God. What do we feel proud of? Story of Narayanastra and Aruni I have never heard before. Vigorous Narayanastra pacified by surrendered souls. God loves humbleness it had been proven by above story. Powerful king Raghu words are inspirational. We came to this world empty handed, what is ours to give someone. Main important take away, if we feel pride of our good deeds, it will nullify all our good deeds. Pride separates us from God. Thanks Swamiji for opening our eyes.

Pride leads to ultimate downfall in life. When we try to stay humble we learn a lot of things but when pride takes over we become arrogant and harm our intellect. Humbleness allows us to grow in life.
