Marana native and former Arizona lineman Jordan Morgan was the first Wildcat to go in the first round since 2008. He's the second Marana High grad to be drafted.
Wasn't sure about this guy at #25, but the more I learn the more I can see him being the Packers next Pro Bowl caliber Guard, lining up opposite current Pro Bowl caliber Guard Elgton Jenkins. Sounds like a high character guy with a great work ethic (and exceptional athleticism at OG), so he'll fit in nicely in the locker room. Packers must aggressively address other roster needs on day two. Go Pack Go!
Happy for the pick, disappointed in the drafts coverage of our pick. Didn't even show him, just said his name and moved on. They should have shown one of the greatest moments in his life!!!
Yeah it does suck for Jordan, but you could tell the draft coverage had it out for Green Bay just a little bit since it was in Detroit. It is what it is, if they want us to be the villains we can be villains
They do that every year. They yammer on relentlessly for every pick, then the Packers get on the clock and it's time for a long commercial break. The pick is made and they move on to the next team. It's stupid because the Packers, legitimately, have a global fan base, year after year are among the top three in most popular teams (go to any Packers road game and look at just how many fans in attendance are actually Packers fans, and look at the registered Packers "establishments" in all 50 states and in over 100 countries around the world), and they are doing a disservice to a significant % of the viewing audience. Look at the ratings, Packers fans tune in to watch.
@@Metalbass10000exactly what you said! Plus the fact that aren’t we the very last team to have to play internationally, because of the fact we draw fans to any game home or away. And the game in Brazil will count as an away game for us, and home game for Philly. The packers are definitely a top favorite everywhere but they always give us shitty media coverage.
