From North Point HS a Maryland 4A state semifinal between undefeated Parkville and Eleanor Roosevelt.
ER got out to a blazing start but Parkville stormed back and held a double digit lead in the 3Q.
The end of the game was a bit controversial as a whistle blew and nobody knew what the call was. Some though it was a foul, some a travel and some an inadvertent whistle. After a brief delay a travel was called and the game ended with ER earning a birth to the 4A state title to face Churchill.

I watched that travel like 7 times it was the right call I hate to see somebody lose states like that but because of this video parkville CANNOT say they got cheated he took 3 steps also way too many turnovers in the 4th from parkville

No that play was just one of many. The disparity in fouls called was a big part of it. That's why everyone is upset.

You would’ve had to have watched the whole game to understand. The fouls were completely lopsided. Roosevelt shot 29 free throws while parkville only shot 10. It was just blatant.

This was a horrible call. Ref didn’t want to call a foul and instead of saying inadvertent whistle (a ref my bad) he decides to end the game on his call.

If you never played before you can't imagine how heartbreaking it is to loose like that in a game as big as that. Turnovers and then a bad call to seal it.....AND the other team end up winning the state title. I feel for those boys
