People need to read scouting reports or actually watch these dudes play on tv when ESPNU shows the game sometimes. Ben Simmons can play. The game I watched he had a triple double against Ivan Rabb. The mixtapes are for entertainment not to evaluate every aspect of someone's game.
I watched that game to most of these people that talk shit never played real basketball or know anything about it Ivan rabb is a top 5 prospect and bishop o dowd is probably the best school in California and tge triple double was easy for him he really let the game come to him
All you people who say all he can do is dunk stfu , of you've actually watched full game footage of Ben Simmons you would know that he has a point guard skill set ,great passing ability , he dominates the game and has the highest IQ of any bigman in highschool right now.Watch him against bishop o'dowd he got a triple double without trying. True we haven't seen a jump shot from him but at this level he doesn't need one cos he gets to the basket sooo easily.
A few things.... He is making sick dunks cuz he 6'10 and also if he is ranked #1 in the country he must be pretty good I say goes to draft 2nd round but doesn't play much pro. He plays like Arron Gordon
I personally went and watch simmons and I too thought that he was over rated by watching the videos but I was wrong! He is a young blake griffin! He was cuffing the ball and dunking on kids through traffic! Nor wiggins or parker had this kids build. He will be nba ready right after his 1st year of college!
His body is almost nba ready, thats all i see, no jumpshot, and he isnt very explosive, he gets in there with his strenght, that wont count at the next level
This is by far the worst class in recent years; Ben simmons would get wrecked by the previous #1 recruits. Wiggins/parker were way better, nerlens noel was way better, and anthony davis was way better, not impressed by this class at all
