ColdsawBAM I was thinking csgo this whole time I literally have a harder time playing silver 4s on my burner act with friends then I do playing dmg just cause I can use actual tactics in dmg but in silver I’ll get someone spraying through smoke with a pp bizon while they light themselves on fire singing watch me burn by Eminem and Rihanna
@@andrewmckeever2416 if u understand ur opponent is way better, That's the result. The game isn't just attacking you know, it's more than that. "actually playing" means you've created some sort of idea as to how the game should be played.
@@andrewmckeever2416 golds already have that "no one's better than me and if I get screwed up, it's the game not the other player" or "Im good enough to try". Accepting reality and adapting to it isn't something to be embarrassed about
As much as I respect the silvers for putting up a fight, people are giving them way too much credit lol. Everyone acting like they General Patton and his men tactfully storming a battlefront. What actually happened is that their disorder and chaotic movements were so unorganized that predicting their movements was impossible for jtsn
@@mr.onomatopoeia523 They didn't have a rock solid plan, but they had some simple organisation, unlike the gold who were all chasing the ball for themselves. Don't deny that.
@@JJ-lx6fj And again...the joke went right over your head. It was a joke post, that you took seriously. Therefore the expression r/wooosh. It doesn't mean I literally posted it on Reddit, so...thanks for proving my point...again.
The Golds were more individually competent, but were a worse team. The silvers knew they were trash, and relied on teamwork and swarming to compensate. They ended up playing better as a result lol.
Watch his other video about this, because it shows part of the reason the silvers did better than golds. Basically two golds on the team tried to sabotage the entire thing. Sunless was thinking about redoing it, but he didn’t wanna waste Justin’s time, so he edited every time the two golds hit the ball and every time they scored. You can see around 9:44 that Justin’s score went up by one, but it didn’t show him scoring. That was one of the golds doing.
@@vayull7163 back in the earlier years of rocket league, everyone used to call it faceoff, but around 1-2 years ago people started to predominately say kickoff instead
@@moomooha234 it must just have been an American thing then. And when people that play football started to influence the game more, the Americans started using proper terms.
I can understand identifying it as a face-off, as it's a sort of 1v1 type scenario. But the act of what that part of Rocket League is, would be the equivalent to a kick-off, and that's what it should be called.
True but Golds aren't that smart. They all overestimate their own ability and tries to be a 1-man army. Gold and above players have the skills but they lack the decision-making and reading of the game of the pros.
Silvers are really better than golds. I have never had a problem with beating golds but silvers are many times ubeatable (lots of smurfs, lots of playeres that cant get out of this rank cuz team)
When the silvers barely lost I thought the golds would obliterate him, but all they did was take him on one at a time rather than how the silvers threw everything they had at once. Teamwork makes the dream work baby
To be fair, the golds were in better position to make teamplay happen. Spaced out, not as many 5x commits, and looking mostly like players. Instead of Jstn facing 7 incompetent foes at once, he took on 7 somewhat competent foes in a row. Beat one, beat two, beat three is much easier than beat 4 at once. The attempt at teamwork was their downfall. Every man for himself, on the other hand...
Right...it looked like gold vs pro. Get the ball in the air and it's like ducklings learning to fly against a bald eagle. If they had tactics and the ability to fly, they wouldn't be gold. They have just enough knowledge to hurt themselves.
Michael Cassidy he’s just doing that for more people to defend him but he still wants the same goal as all the other scumbags who are asking for subs and don’t have the Brain power to realize that it’s gonna get you nowhere if you don’t work for it so you need to stfu and so does 1k subs dumbo guy
What humility are you talking about? 3 Silvers that went for the ball, interfering and bumping with eachother, while Golds didn't want to bump into each other and let one man hit the ball? And what makes you say that the Golds have a ego, did you see one of them rage or talk trash anyone? They all tried their best, the Golds were a bit more organized and scattered, instead of completely random like the Silvers. You should've said "This proves that randomness CAN work better than strategies" Why do people upvote stupid comments like yours, I'll never understand.
Plat is so much different than gold, in plat, players are aware that they are a team, and working together is necessary, like good rotations and sometimes passing plays. Trust is inexistant in gold
Asser Akram I try to tell my friend this all the time he tells me gc are trash and if he had a gc tm8 he could beat them he also told me if he used all the time he played everyday around 10 hours he could get gc in a week I try to tell him what he’s saying is so cocky but he doesn’t understand he said his only downfall is mechanics bu apparently to him champs can’t air dribble he said he does have the brain f a gc tho
Yeah this vid really shows the best way to play against a pro in rl is to swarm them, not give them time to think instead of being spaced out and too casual as these golds were
Classic case where Golds improve more mechanically, gain more confidence, and thus want to take control and score the goal. You see the whole team moving like a wave with the ball because they all want to pounce and attack the ball. No one is thinking about positioning, rotation, or team strategy. Silvers went for bumps, boost steals, & team roles. The difference was amazing.
yea fr all the golds wanted to prove they could score a goal on justin and so were all playing individually....silvers were working together a lot more efficientyl
Can't Think of a name nah maybe back when the game first came out. Silvers today would’ve been considered like diamond+ back then. I played in silver and everyone was hitting aerials.
@@xodiac-gg7049 I started in diamond. Then didn't play for a while. Then had a big losing streak and got stuck in plat. Then didn't play for a while. Then had a big losing streake and went down to gold.
Damn, Sunless is really getting his moneys worth out of this. Not only was the original video immensely successful as is, now he got another storytime video out of it, which is funneling people back to watch the original again GENIOUS.
damon harris-Brennan I guess, he’s been saying on stream for a while though that he wanted to get into RU-vid but didn’t expect to see him in a sunless vid. He should have uploaded his point of view to his own channel.
@@justaguy6415 I certainly don't but i can occasionally see teammates do that. I mostly get pissed off about teammates positioning. I don't care if you whiff a couple shots or saves but if I'm attacking the ball and you're right up my ass and leave our goal empty I'm gunna be pissed.
@@tonerc.8191 yes that’s the same as me there have been so many times in gold 2s where we’re doing ok but then my teammate is either back but can’t save the ball at all or I remember one teammate I had that stayed in our goal the whole match and wanted me to do everything myself so I couldn’t cross the ball for him because every time I looked back he was just sat in our goal so we ended up losing the match all because he didn’t want play as a team or move out of the goal 🙄
Sunless' commentating is making me wheeze XD "penta commit" "chasing him like a puppy" "Left them all shook" "running around like a wild animal" Edit: hopefully sunless realizes his true talent
The Silvers' strategy: 💡 *They cannot know our next move if we don't know our next move either Also, a whole team defending and bumping the other team's attacker equals no goals for the opponent and goals for us.* The Golds' strategy: *I'll demolish myself into the ball until I score and, if this doesn't work, I'll just continue ball-chasing and ruin my whole team's rotation.* 🤪
Rocket League experiments idea: 7 Grand Champs Vs. 1 Silver but the silver gets to set the grand champ's camera settings and controls. However the silver player must bind each action to a specific button and cannot bind more than one action to any button
@@itzlapis_ jarvis is also the name of a bot in rl. So maybe that's what he was talking about Or maybe he did get it and i am interpreting it wrong(probably that's what it is)
Silvers: fun, tactical, good players to be around that would give you a close, good matchup. Golds: selfish, arrogant, toxic egotists who just want goals.
