Definitely not us much as last season. Once you have a player of that quality, he's always going to be the star but I don't feel like we are relying on him in the same way. Other plays are creating chances other than Grealish. With El Ghazi and Traore playing so well, we won't miss Grealish in the same we would last season even if it would be a big blow. Completely disagree about the bench comment from the other dude tho, the only thing id say we lack there is a striker but Wesley is almost back.
The problem with villa is that we’re like Robin Hood like the old Arsenal. We can beat Liverpool 7-2, Arsenal 0-3, but can’t beat Brighton, Leeds, Burnley, West Ham
Ummm as a Fulham fan our defence is definitely not our problem now, it was in the first 4 games when we hadn’t signed our current centre backs Anderson and adarabioyo. Also in terms of holding leads, we are unbeaten since Scott Parker took over when going 1-0 up. Lazy lazy stuff from u lads.
How do they know better than professional managers? For example klopp has faith in youth and can trust nat phillips as well (21 years old) he also has huge faith in rhys williams who marked harry kane out of the spirs v liverpool game, they also have gini, hendo, robbo, koumetio to play there, we might need someone expirienced but instead of buying an upemacano or high profile defender for £50M+ go out and sign for example a connor coady, garry cahil. We all know vvd will be back before the end of the season because he’s simply built different, he could be hack for early march, we also have the best keeper in the world in alisson which gives defenders faith, trust in klopp and no outsiders can know better than him, there’s a reason he got coach of the year.
Ur so wrong with this chelseas attacking situation🤦♀️. Our problem is that we have only 3 wingers and their injured all the time. That's why werner and havertz has to play on the wing.
In my opinion Man Utd problem is their CB because Maguire and linedelof are very slow so they need upamecano. Cause Eric Bailey is always injured and same as tuanzebe
how is it bad for you to be reliant on two world class players like kane and son??? it isn’t a two-man team. sissoko hojbjerg and ndombele have done bits in midfield, going unseen by not scoring. reguilon and aurier have been amazing this year. except aurier giving away a pen obvs. alderweireld and dier have been great. and hugo lLoris has been solid
Thogden: Man city don't have a leader that is why they are drawing a lot. Meanwhile Man city have 5 draws and are around mid table and Liverpool have 6 draws and are first
kroenke has given us one of the least money out of any prem club. if we had more money we could invest in big signings not just people that will be good in 5 years
Merry Christmas thogden and thogdad I hope you have a brilliant Christmas, all I ask is that thogden you start predicting reasonable predictions with villa from a villa fan, MERRY CHRISTMAS guys👍
Yh bro. Also, I wouldn't say we are as reliant on Grealish as we usually are. With a fully fit team, Barkley and Watkins are equally as important in my opinion. Watkins contribution to the game is so underrated and unnoticed by many fans, his hold up play is ridiculous, he seems to always win the ball from even the most desperate of villas clearances.
@cogamers84 yeah calling him an efl striker was a bit harsh, don't get me wrong he is a good player, but not quality enough to be a first choice striker at a club that wants to win trophies :)
Problem at City: scoring goals Liverpool: injuries United: CB pairing Chelsea : new players misfiring Tottenham: breaking teams down Arsenal: everything
as a Villa fan, i dont think we rely on Grealish too much, just look at our past 2 games, we have two 3-0 wins and yes, Grealish has played well but Watkins, Traorè and El Ghazi have been the stars.
