In 2000 when I played for the Middle Tennessee Mudcats, I was supposed to pitch against the Indian Bulls in a World Series in Michigan. I came down with a bad virus the night before and couldn’t. We lost that game. In 2001 as a high school team we played in a tournament in Memphis against them again. I got to pitch. Threw a 1 hitter against them. Won it. I’ll never forget Wes Whistler from that team and how great of a left handed hitter he was!
