almost as if Strong was watching and said I want to help resurrect uconn . the day after the loss! amazing thank you Strong for picking uconn lets go huskies!
I agree. As much as inspiring their season was, the Huskies had very little chance to compete with SCar anyway. This year's version of the cocks have very little weakness - they're just too big, too fast and plays ten deep. With Strong, not to mention Mo Cheli who's a Siegrist clone and sharpshooting Allie Z coming in, UConn will be back next season. El Alfy should be cleared to go by season's start and fill the 5 spot nicely but Azzi, Carol , Yanna and Aubrey may not be ready right away so the three incoming freshmen will get of plenty of playing time to contribute right away. I think this class potentially is the 3rd best class to come to Storrs.
@@qkingoftearsresurrect? UConn has made the FF in all 3 of Paige years and if not for a terrible call, Paige had an excellent chance of getting them into s send final in her 3 years. As a freshman, they had 7 freshmen, as a soph she missed the entire regular season, and this season they had the worst rash of injuries in memory. With AG, AF, El Alfy back and the 4 freshmen certain to be even better, this team will be much better even without Strong. Not only will they have great talent back, but with a bench the players can play less and more intensely. Any team with Paige goes to the FF. Add Strong and it's looking great.
Tge womans game doesn't grow when 3 schools have whole rosters of all Americans. This isn’t college football. The talent pool isn't big enough. Also, it definitely doesn't make all those titles look very impressive.
Easy does it. Like most High Schoolers who come to UConn, she has no idea what defense is really all about. We'll see if she can take it. I sincerely hope so, but this is NCAA Div 1. For instance, Brady was all this and all that, but it took her over half this season to get into a UConn defense position. I hope Strong is all they say, but we'll see.
I appreciated your hype for UConn, I’m a huge fan of them as well. The lineup was tremendous already, now you add Strong, but (unless I missed it) you missed at least three of the team members that are solid players also. Perhaps not great (and certainly overshadowed by the others), but just to be a part of Geno Auriemma’s UConn Huskies means they are really, really good. Good job on your video, and I’m not criticizing but I’m mentioning Ayanna Patterson, Inêz Bettencourt and Quadence Samuels- three who will make strong additions coming off the bench in the coming years.
Don’t be surprised if Patterson enters the portal. She’s not gonna get that much playing time especially with the promising freshman coming in.. I hope Caroline could be a good contributor, but you really can’t count on her with concussion issues.
wow you're churning out the content, great stuff. regarding Sarah Strong, I'm over the moon about it, as a UConn fan, who has suffered through with all the injuries and adversities over the last few seasons. let's hope the injury jinx is over! no more injuries, please; that's the big X factor, along with when and how well the currently hobbled UConn players come back from their injuries; Fudd, Griffin, El Alfy, Ducharme: will they be ready to go at the start of the season? will they need to ease their way back, coming off rehab? that will affect how Geno assesses who will/can start, who will come off the bench, etc etc. so here's hoping they will all be more or less ready to go. regarding Sarah Strong: not only is she a terrific athlete, she's also clearly very Strong-minded (pun intended). it is clear now that it was probably a foregone conclusion that she would choose UConn, as she'd had playing for UConn on her vision board! and her idol, she said, is Breanna Stewart - who, as we know, won four championships at UConn and was named MVP all four times - so I guess that's what she wants to emulate! and by the way, her choosing UConn also probably means that Auriemma will stick around as coach for another four years - not only because having Strong means possible championships going forward, but also because part of Strong's choosing UConn was for the opportunity to play for Auriemma, and learn from him, and to help prepare her for the WNBA, which she's already thinking about!
This year's team had 2 maybe 3 players who could score 25 points in a game. Paige, Aaleya and Ash. Next year you have Paige, Ash, Azzi, Sara, Alley, Aubrey and Jana. A healthy Caroline could but I don't know if that will happen. It looks like that means more scoring. And, it takes a lot more pressure off of Paige.
