He played his unit majority nicely denying gold while looking out for the expansion, if he cant farm anything and he has no base he just has to deny the opponent's gold since he has more units and units move, towers don't wp.
he really is an idiot though. He is a palla with full mana he has divine shield, yet he uses the invul potion. And just stands there like an idiot and can't decide to go attack. He doesn't heal units while on full mana. He can't give gloves of haste to naga, who can attack from afar the base. Just painful to watch.
Maybe DS is too mana costly and only gives a few short seconds of use, while healing allows for bigger trades. If he pala was attacking the towers and also healing, the damage output and healing would be severely reduced But then again, idk
@@FragnarokNethermaster Divine shield lvl1 costs 25 mana and lasts 15 seconds. CD is 35. It costs almost nothing and would not have put him in danger of being oom or getting his pala killed while it is on CD It would've been a decent measure to run the orc out of resources. But it still would've been up to him to keep scouting the long distance mining and denying it
I played Warcrack 3 a long time ago. Divine Shield was good vs UD to snipe Acos. The damage output against towers NEVER amounted to anything than keeping a pack of rifles alive to increase damage total.
It's been very long since I saw anyone play as bad, as that Orc... I've genuinely struggled more against AI, that at least has better target prio, but this guy is just eating crayons level stupid.
Hello, I have a question, how can I play this game as it is seen in this video? I've been wanting to play it again but I've been put off by the idea of having to do it with Reforge graphics. Is it possible to disable the Reforge mode to play with the original graphics as seen here?
yes, you can play with original graphics, it is very easy: first you need to go to blizzard website and download battlenet desktop app, then you have 2 options: 1 - find old ROC cd-key and redeem it on your account, then you can play only original graphics 2 - buy reforged, then you can switch between new and original graphics with one button in menu new graphics is like a skin on entire game, one player can use new graphics and other player can use original and they play together
So I'm very rusty on my Warcraft 3 tactics, I've been out of the game for a long while now, could someone explain the strategy here? I mean, play by play I get what happened, but I don't understand what the thought process behind it all was.
The basic level of understanding is that you have to start making heroes and a few soldier to go around hunting creeps in the map. Killing them is much easier and levels up your hero quickly, giving him better stats and abilities plus some item boost. Its best to claim them all before your opponent gets a chance to attack the creeps so that the only way to level up his hero is by attacking yours, which is more harder than the creeps
@@nomadiccheese4911 Makes sense, basically playing a game of denial. So the goal is to get your hero faster with just combat units to start taking out the camps of creeps. I also noticed there were lots of little things that they did to prevent the enemy getting a kill on their units or hero. Hero is obvious, as not only does the enemy getting a kill on your hero mean they get some xp for it, it also means you don't have your hero to level up while you resummon him. And again for the latter part of the game he had his small army denying the enemy resources. Even though he didn't have resources anymore with having no buildings but a tower left hidden behind some trees. Is this what most multiplayer games of Warcraft 3 boil down to? A game of denial?
@@TheFoxfiend yeah for the hero part. Its also a total domination game where you need to completely destroy the enemy base as you can see at the ending where the enemy fails to destroy the tower for a victory. But you can skip the hero part and go for a cheesy strat by mass building defense towers at the enemies base. Victories may vary but ive seen ppl play like that without buying a hero. Its fast but risky. There a many strats to this game. The hero killing creeps is just one of them. Soldiers and buildings are also important. Going for mass musketmen? Build two barracks to produce soldiers faster. Trying a frost wrym army? Build a bunch of bone yard. Etc, etc.
Looks like pros still usually go for level 2 divine shield over aura at level 4. Do you agree with that? The reason I wonder is the nerf. They nerfed the effect from level 2 and 3 shield without adjusting the cooldown so with each upgrade the effect increases by 10s but cooldown by 15s.
This doesn't seem like Chuddy. 😐 Low APM, bad foresight into containment... Not selling items to rebuild the town hall... Seems like a hacked account, or it was the last match of a long day
somewhat... yea.. i felt some things were off in the micro as well, several rifleman could have been saved and it took him long to figure out the "let him bleed out and take towers one by one " MO. and the townhall thing is strange aswell, he had the larger army and could have protected his townhall i think
Did I see a fourth hero,I played this as kid and coming back again I just downloaded it like 5 hours ago and played a little and being a totally noob and I should recall there is just a three hero? Maybe I just forgot or im totally dumb hehehe
I think warcraft 3 base game has 3 heroes and frozen throne added a fourth hero for every race. I honestly never played without frozen throne so I could be wrong.
If only you had some sort of hero power giving temporary invulnerability to be guaranteed to get rid of those towers over time without suffering any casualty...
@@nigelblythe6627 Did you know that repairs cost gold? And that gold, unlike mana, need to be actually mined? Regardless, a lvl 2 Divine Shield is 30 second long. Pala hits for 40 avg at that level. A tower is 500HP. This means that you have to repair while the paladin is here or it's gone, ie you lose your peons by doing so. Did you peon cost gold btw? And that you need peons to get gold? :P Mana shield costs next to nothing. If you watch pro rep you'll notice they tend to cycle it on cool down basis, not play it twice in a 30 min game. Jesus.
@@redford4ever I would assume paladin will be always be surrounded and cornered. Levels for hero more valuable then just builds damaging, unless your hero actually good at that. Whats better - damaging building and do nothing, or making blademaster to lvl 5 and get 160-200 crits to enemies, who actually will do more damage to enemy resources, by killing units.
На хил маны бы не осталось для армии + денег нет на банки с маной чтобы неуязвимость прожимать по кд. Одним паладином без армии очень тяжело что то снести
No funny unexpected tricks this game? A little bit disappointed. And you should sell items at end game and build Town Hall maybe? Guard it with army. You could also have transported army with Zeppelin under Orc Town Hall and destroy it, no Towers would reach you south of it. Yet the game was kinda entertaining, thank you. :-)
i thought making this last tower behind trees was kind of a little unexpected trick also i think that trying to build Town Hall would be a losing strategy as it would take too much time and opponent would be mining earlier and i would have no reliable way to protect Town Hall against harras for long time even when it is finished
Yea, that's true, he would be able to mine sooner than you, didn't think of that. But if you destroyed his town hall he had only the Blademaster to harras at end game. You could have sold the Runed bracers (worthless without orc spells to attack you) to make 2 scout towers and so make it impossible to land with the Zeppelin (in case he would buy one), just a wild thought. You (and FunnyWarcraft 3's short videos) are what keeps my interest in WC3 alive, I have seen hundreds of Crotagaming's WC3 videos of pro's playing, but I have gotten bored, your crazy tactics are much more fun! Gooo Poland!
always the insult when losing, so pathetic... You should reply to this guy: ''So you lose to a idiot noob loser? How great you are''... You played very well, and still continue to amaze me after all thoses years. You're really not annoying at all ...GG ;-)
