Of course, she is still young and will get better, but the question is how much better? She is not where most expected her to be at this point. The injury was very unfortunate, and we really don't know the magnitude of the impact it will have going forth, mentally or physically. I'm rooting for her though.

This game was no where pretty. Nobody can’t tell me that defense does not win games. SC shot 31% from the field. Their defense is just a nightmare for any team. Still needs some work on FT and outside shooting. Very good game this what SC needs is hard fought games. Great win ladies.

You're absolutely right. South Dakoka state held them to 34%. They actually lucked up and beat Stanford. Teams with bigs and offense are dangerous for them. I'm waiting on the Tennessee, LSU, Missouri, and Ole Miss games. I'm rooting for SC but I'm not happy with the lack of growth in Beal and Cardoza.

@@robertfoster5705 You don’t think Brea Beal has grown from previous seasons? She has gotten better defensively and has upped her offense. I do agree that they need to work on their passing and knowing who to target and who to not target during certain plays. Henny had that down to a tee and the guards can still be taught if they want to continue to winning this season.

This might be the toughest game for us , nobody else stands a chance and please don’t anyone say LSU , they haven’t played anyone and you’ll see the difference when we play them. Good game lady gamecocks.

Well I’m going to say it LSU is a good team . SC does not have a shooter and this will hurt come tournament time. Teams are ganging up on Boston so somebody has to be open and not afraid to shot the damn ball.

I would say too I did not like this game. They did not drive too the basket enough. The outside shots was not going in. The ref just are a waste of time. The girls over all won. Go Gamecocks....

It's just a matter of time until they lose. They don't have any consistent perimeter shooters. Teams are going to concede the outside shots and pack it down low to defend their bigs. They will probably see zone the remainder of the year. Boston looks worn out already.

@@southernbellnc6241 it doesn’t take having to know plays to just simply shoot the ball when you’re open. last game vs auburn when chloe played, they swung the ball 1000x while she was wide open on the wing. liv and chloe are our shooters rn & them not playing is causing more stress on other players who can’t shoot. i also think that’s putting more pressure on Aliyah.

Dawn has two of her best shooters in chloe and liv on the bench which makes no sense to me. Im convinced she likes to win ugly slugfest, because her rotations don't add up. She prioritizes defense over offense hence why brea and victoria get majority minutes. I guess they're satisfied with barely escaping and a Win is a Win mentality, which if they do shouldn't be the way t o g o.

Dude they have like the top margin of victory ratio in the country as well as one of the top defenses as far as points allowed. Not every game is a blowout.

If u don’t know, it depends on how u are in practice. She has also said (and also fans) Olivia doesn’t have the best defense. Chloe is new and doesn’t know many plays. She has even said that. You have to be good in transition. If you didn’t know.

Yes, she do prioritize defense over offense where have you been? Defense has kept SC in the AP poll the last 10 years, the #1 team the past year and a half straight, 2 of the last 5 National Championship, could have easily been 3 of the last 6 or 4-6. They lead the NCAA blocks, DefFG%, DefFG3pt% and at least one more team defensive stat. On top of all that this game was close throughout, yet you expect the #14 depth player and one that haven't been her a month yet to play. Dawn rotations are not the problem, it's your arrogance that's the problem coach glover....You not a better coach than coach Staley, humble yourself...

Been watching for years and dawn's method is post play rebound, and defense. Never been much about perimeter shooting like uconn which is why they've Won so much and dominating south Carolina in series

Do you not know Chloe is new she does not know the plays crazy. SC not going to blow each team out each night. Dawn does this so come post season they will know how to handle these games. Yes they need some outside shooting. I hate myself they don’t shoot the ball 50% of the time they will get the rebound anyway. It’s all confidence with shooting.
