The guy said the police couldnt apologise enough to him after they found they was wrong about it. But still couldn't release his bike for free

That unmarked Audi probably cost over £100,000 fitted out with cameras etc. and that money could have fed the homeless and elderly or have been used for something actually productive rather than of minimal real value to society beyond profits for security companies. Ironbuket in England you are Not required by law to carry any documentation with You whatsoever. If you get stopped by the police they can require you to present your driving licence and insurance detail to a designated police station of your choice with 7 days. If you then fail to this then they will pursue you and prosecute you. The only exception is when they are not satisfied that you are who you claim to be. In this case they know full well who the driver is, ( they clarified this on the data base during the video) and the cop who withdrew the producer document and then decided to report the offence of driving with no insurance did this to intimidate and punish the driver for being difficult. I have some personal friends who are Police and others who have been police. They are the 1st to admit that a lot of their colleagues are a disgrace to the uniform. Ps, the ones that quit the police force did so because they were demoralised by being dragged away from the good work they were doing in the community to go out and nick motorists in order to get their target figures up.

They were not able to confirm if there was insurance or not at the roadside. Your statement implies they know he had insurance, which was not the case from the footage available. Unless your claim is that they did confirm there was insurance and then lied about it? The guy filming may have been 100% sure he has insurance and you may take his word for it, but as I said before, do you expect police to just take peoples word for it if they say they have insurance?

Hog Wild. First up you cannot speed calibrate a speedometer in a mass produced vehicle. If you asked a manufacturer of such vehicles to sign a legally binding document as to the absolute accuracy of the Speedometer, THEY WILL NOT DO IT BECAUSE THEY KNOW THERE IS A + OR - VALUE OF UP TO 3%. How strange that the vehicle design regulations allow the use of inaccurate equipment to be fitted, but the judicial system can enforce an ABSOLUTE CODE knowing this fact. This is what's called "endemic corruption" & perhaps that is what gives many people the shits. ( metaphorically speaking).

So there’s no excuse for actually speeding as to be going over 60, his speedo would have been showing 65+. Police cars are fitted with new calibrated speedos after they receive the vehicles from the car manufacturer.

If you change the tyres from stock or increase the rim size to an optional but legally bigger diameter then EVERY Speedo is going to give an inaccurate reading. Yes they are usually very accurate but certain weather, or surrounding electronic wavelength signals can send them haywire. Cop car speedos are replaced with calibrated ones... so if you know what calibrated means, then you’ll know it is accurate
