I would go as far to say, anything negative can kill attraction. Stay positive my brothers. Your outcome will always be better. Relationships, business, health, all things!

Having made some of these same mistakes myself, I've come to the conclusion that text messaging is the WORST form of communication ever invented. So much can be misconstrued. There's no facial expressions, no body language, no intonation. Keep text messages brief and to the point. They should only be used to arrange the next in-person meeting.

I love that a woman can be insecure as shit and show it with every breath, but a man can't even hint he has one or two insecurities.

First of all, if a woman told me she "wasn't sure she wanted a relationship". That's it for me. After two or three dates and she says this... she obviously isn't into me! My response would have been, "Okay, when you figure it out, get back to me." Then I walk. I will never be desperate enough to beg for a relationship. A forced relationship is a disaster from the word go!

If you do not hear from a woman in a couple of days, that´s her giving in to some more flirts she has on her job/school, gym, parkinglot, the food market, her hood, car reapair shop, dancehall, gasstation etc. Yes, you´re not the only one. You will never bee.

No man wants to do all the work in a relationship either. Thats a common problem I see. Relationships develop and then the guy is left doin all the work to make it happen. Its takes 2 to tango. From personal exp in relationships I done the work and the woman didnt do anything, then flip the tables on the women, they get pissed off and throw accusations at the man. This is the misinterpretation of the century. The guy obviously has some set of values and it ain't got anything to do with insecureities. A girl taking more than 24 hours to reply to a message is having different priorities and no real interest in a guy. Also, a lack of respect. Just ignore her if this is reoccurring behavior and move on.

Women must understand that men who aren’t insecure is that way for a reason, they either don’t care due to conflicting goals, confident in their ability to move on, or more rarely confident while committed. The last one isn’t as common as women prefer to believe. The less a person needs you, the easier it is for them to move on when the level of difficultly is higher than their threshold of tolerance and every relationship has such obstacles. Insecurity is a weakness yet it plays a distinct role in protecting the relationship during tumultuous times. While it’s true that the guy in the video example may have been overbearing too early. While it’s important to make some minor adjustments to your behavior, one shouldn’t drastically change who they are, because you just end up playing games resulting in bitter feelings in the end. While this relationship didn’t work out, it may be good that it didn’t and they’re better off finding more compatible personalities. In relationships, if you have to try that hard especially in the beginning, it may not be worth it. A person is better off investing their efforts elsewhere where that mindset is appreciated.

I thought women wanted to connect with the real you, insecurities, vulnerabilities and all.

You're right girl..... this guy is doing it wrong! First off, first date.... take her somewhere different, forget food and traditional . At this point the guy is calling the shots never her, connect with her emotionally. Just when things are clicking .... end the date!!!! 2 days to return a text has not interested and game player all over it. Let me get this straight. They were in the beginning of a relationship and had recently slept for the first time. Guy contacted her and offered to go for a drink. She dint replay for two days and then she accuses the guy for getting insecure? Or did i misunderstood this situation? If i did not, she was being very rude and unconsidered and should take a deep look inside of herself. NOBODY is that that busy that cant find the time to answer to the text. This is wicked.

Obviously either 1) was not that interested 2) was playing mind games both are not a good sign for the man. Blunt and to the point, just the way I like it. Thanks for another great episode. I do not nor have I ever been needy and insecure with my current relationship. We both have very busy careers and see each other about two-three times a month. In fact, we've cancelled just as many dates as we've been on because of conflicting work schedules and other family matters. Guys just need to realize, women have lives too, sometimes very busy.

I think I learned to turn off any form of interest with a woman, especially in the beginning. The last woman I dated curved me just for showing mutual interest. I think by me just being mutually interested, it made me appear needy....because I responded to texts, gave compliments, wanted to be around them. I just realized that I CANNOT do that. It may just be how I am when I like a woman, but it completely repels them.

this is true. When I like a girl, I fall hard. Once I'm emotionally invested my insecurities will surface and all it takes is a few triggers to make me lose myself. It's incredibily hard not to get jealous or speak out in insecurity. I honestly dont know how I can overcome it. Attachement theory says I should date someone who is secure in themselves. It's true...iv always been much more stable around girls who have high intelligence and dont play games and have high level of integrity.

This is a pretty common scenario. Most men know pretty quickly if they want to pursue a relationship because it's mostly based on the women's looks. It takes longer for women to figure that out because it takes time to earn her respect and build emotional intimacy. So it's a catch-22. Most guys who give a woman enough time and space to let their feelings build do so because they're just not that interested. So women typically end up developing feelings for the guys who don't care about them as much instead of the ones that do care.

Sorry but busy with work is excuse. A women has her phone with her 24/7 these days. You need to be talking at least few other women to keep you're options open. I agree he showed his insecurities but also the women wasn't that into him. The last chick i asked to meet up kept on making excuses on why she couldn't meet up. The problem with "needy" is that it's rooted in ENTITLEMENT. When we feel like someone owes us time/attention/affection/texting/etc, we feel entitled to it and resentful when we don't get what we want/feel like we deserve. That projects through pressure statements, jealousy, guilt trips, ultimatums, etc...all of which are seen as needy and insecure...because they are. It's human nature, and it is the same for women. It's a natural emotional journey for everyone. It's unattractive behavior no matter who you are. It makes us appear emotionally immature, insecure, and irrational. There is absolutely nothing wrong or unhealthy about setting boundaries for people who blow you off, disrespect you, etc...but the approach we take is what counts. Giving someone a hard time about something pretty much guarantees tension and bad vibes. It's easy to REACT, but shows strength to RESPOND instead. Especially texting because you can literally check yourself before you say something out of the heat of the moment. Guys, we aren't entitled to anyone's time, but guess what...nobody's entitled to OUR time either. Respect is earned. So act in a way that respects YOURSELF and everyone else will too. Act like a chump and that's what they'll think you are. Real strength doesn't need to flex. Calm and thoughtful is power under pressure. Stay strong, brothers.

I just had a woman give me her number and then make a date, flake, then said she was busy/sick/tired for two weeks and I said look, lets meet up I dont want to wait two weeks. She said "o you are too intense for me, glad I decided not to meet you". So she lied about being busy/sick/whatever and then acts like she found out my true nature or some shit. You say a man's insecurities are a big turn off. That goes both ways. I remember being in a relationship with this girl for four years. She was so insecure it wasn't funny. I was at the point when I didn't want to be with her anymore. I got back together with her a couple months after we went our separate ways. If you're not in the market for a relationship, and just want fun....then spell it out, and don't get involved with someone who wants something serious. #2 - 2 days go by, and then she says "I'm happy to get a drink with you...if you want" LOL "if you want" That phrase is TOTALLY giving off the "I don't care about seeing you" or "I'm not going to put myself out there and say I want to see you" vibe. "I'll have sex....if you want" "I'll go to the movies...if you want" That phrase is rude...and meant to illicit a certain response...and put the other person on notice that they are on thin ice.
