Only Chuck Smith, who while preaching a fantastic sermon , would notice some activity going on and call that person out.. "i wondered why you were carrying a purse" so funny.. there was no doom and gloom in his church. He had a huge sense of humor.
The Pastor of Calvary Chapel Brooklyn Ohio ( Mike Bucher still preaching every Sun, Wen's) sat under this wonderful teacher. I often see some of Chuck Smith in him. Oh what a true blessing to be a pupil of Chuck Smith. In the same manner, Timothy sat under Paul. And we that believe, sit under the greatest teacher, our Holy Lord, GOD, Jesus Christ. Fyi. May the Lord Jesus and his father help all of us to remember that the law was here to convict us ALL of sin...and that we are always beholden to that law so that we do not use our following the law to use it against others...this is a solid one to always remember. This is a note to self when I revisit this in the future. Thank you Pastor Chuck for enlightening me and giving me daily bread in my dark times..i didn t translate right.
I am just happy he (Pastor Smith) is now in the very presence of the holy God he served all of his life. I often wonder who is he currently talking too up in heaven? I imagine he is sitting at the feet of Jesus Christ. I think Pastor Smith knew what the world was becoming..he got to see a lot of the evils in 2014. Let's not lose hope..Christ is in control.
