My idea of a working welding table. I don’t believe you need a dog hole every 4” for structural welding, just as your table demonstrates. Every detail of your table is layer out for work. Thanks for sharing.

That’s a great table. The holes and the clamps are killer, so is the gutter. The planning and execution of it is Top Notch. Great Job!!

Wicked table! One thing I would do is add sub shelving on half of the table so you can separate the different types of steel. For example, one section for channel, one section for angle....etc. That way if you end up with lots of drops you're not fighting to get the specific piece you need out. Plus it helps with clutter and keeps you organized. Cheers!
@CountryMileGarage
@CountryMileGarage 3 года назад
I got a giant HD steel shelving unit that a use to save drops ... but yes if I wouldn't have that that would be a good idea. Thank you

It is a milling magnet. Ordered it from EBay you have different sizes available it depends on what you like and how much you like to spend.

That table is great, man! I really like it. I also like that you have fixture holes just where you need them instead of peppering the whole table full of them. If you need more, add ‘em! A question - Where did you get the speed clamps you show? The ones with the ratcheting cam instead of a screw down head. What brand are they?
@CountryMileGarage
@CountryMileGarage 2 года назад
the welding clamps with the yellow ratchet handle are made by Realgear I got them at my local welding store Praxair and if you call them their part number for that clamp is RGU686012 hope this will help. Thank you for watching

@@CountryMileGarage I’m seeing that price tag online. They weigh about 5 lbs from the description. They look like they’re built like a tank. Anything with really good quality is worth paying for, in my opinion.

@@aviatordave1 agree with you 💯 quality is worth the money but lots of people get sticker shocked when they see that price tag lol. And they honor the warranty I bend one by my own wrong doings and no questions ask they swap them right out. And yes they are heavy and well build

I live in Central Texas. What would you charge to build a similar table for me? I dont need the magnet insert but otherwise, a similar table.

I would have to check with the current steel prices ( being so high ) but I'm afraid the shipping is going to kill it. But if you really want to I can

not on a scale but the top it self is 1225 Lbs and the sheet on the bottom shelf is 184 Lbs the 4x4 legs are 146 Lbs the 4x6 for the top sheet are 249 Lbs and the 2x4 for the bottom shelf are 140 Lbs total this is 1944 Lbs total and I didn't calculate any of the short cross members that are welded in so I'm probably well over 2000 Lbs ... hope this helps and thank you for watching
