One of the disadvantages of living in cluster housing is the closed-house concept. Starting from doors, windows, and others, they are not equipped with permanent ventilation holes for passive air circulation that continues to move non-stop like in older houses.
At first, I thought, AC doesn't seem mandatory in this living room, because I have installed a ceiling fan and exhaust at several points in the house for air exchange. However, after discussing it with my friends and parents, they suggested that I still have AC even though it will rarely be used because AC can be very helpful, especially when I invite friends/family to gather at night or just help to reduce the temperature/humidity in this core area. And I think they have a point. Therefore, I set the criteria for the AC with a maximum power of 1000 Watts and have a vertical & horizontal swing feature that I can adjust via wireless remote.
After researching, it turns out that this Mitsubishi Heavy Industry model SRK13CRS-S3 is the perfect candidate for my living room.
This AC uses R410 type freon and has 12,283 BTU cooling capacity which is quite enough for my room which can be said to have no partitions. In my opinion, this AC can cool the room air 3x faster when my AC and Ecolux fan operate simultaneously. In fact, it is sometimes able to cool half of my house, such as the living room/kitchen/dining area + mezzanine area, where there is also the Mitsubishi SRK-05CRS3 AC which I once videoed.
This AC has cool features such as vertical and horizontal swing control, high power/Econo, self-cleaning, and also 3D auto for more even air distribution.
One unfortunate thing is that the outdoor unit installation is somewhat limited due to space and pipe length. But, when it's possible in the future, I will allocate an outdoor position and add rubber pads to the base of the outdoor unit for more stable and quiet operation.
