Probably my favorite overwatch video yet tbh. As a bronze myself, it was just incredible seeing you explain things to your teammates and congratulating them on good plays or ideas even when they didn't work out. Most of the times all you hear in voice chat is just criticism and people blaming each other. The attitude that you brought to this is just wonderful and it's what we need to see more of in the game and online as, at the end of the day, we all enjoy this game and we just want to have fun while playing it. Great job to everyone who was involved in this!

It's great how emongg always compliments and teaches the bronzes in a positive way, most high rank players make fun of lower ranks instead of giving tips

I'm a diamond tank and honestly this was the most informative video I've seen of yours emongg. Listening to you explain everything to the bronze players in such simple ways, I actually learned a lot about how to tank! Would love more videos like this in the future

This was incredibly educational, moreso than a lot of other ow lecture-ish content. It can often feel like the games a GM/Top 500 would play are vastly different than a gold/metal rank play so some of the GM advice doesn't work as consistently (either less aware support from your teammates, less mechanical ability, less teamwork, etc) but watching a GM play both AGAINST a metal rank team and WITH metal rank teammates was extremely valuable. Assuming that ranks matter here (I hope they do lol) seeing how a team with less mechanical or awareness skills can be coordinated to victory (or near victory) is extremely helpful in my own (I waffle between gold and plat) games. Ty Emongg.

I found that playing with you was amazingly helpful as a bronze! I don't really have an idea when it's good to blade, so i sorta just do it when I see them bunched up and distracted by our tank. That free reign you gave me was a bit nerve wracking but really exciting. Also some of the calls you made I didn't know what to do with, like the kiriko cleanse and mei iceblock. At some point they switched to counters like zen and symmetra, but i decided to keep playing genji because i wanna learn him against counters too and your coaching was so valuable!

Would love to hear the voice coms for these games. It would make the viewing experience better in my opinion

Widow and genji is such a horrible dps combo. Soldier/sojourn/bastion is soooo good in low level lobbies. Bronze widow is such a waste. But i guess they just wanna have fun. The widow then swaps to sombra.... Jeez

I love that in the end you can objectively say it was a fair matchup overall. Such close games! Also emongg makes such a great leader and has a tremendously fun and kind attitude

How about a buffed tank vs 5 diamond, masters or GMs? Sort of like a raid boss match where it's top tier players against a final boss sort of thing

This shows two slightly contradictory things to me: Even one of the best players in the world might not be able to carry a bronze game but also a single player can move a team's balance literally millions of players away from what it would've otherwise been.

This is really interesting to watch 2 months later and seeing how differently I played then compared to now, I can tell I improved a lot lol

This was fun to watch but I think demonstrates the issue of 5v5, which is that having the better Tank has significantly more value than every other role. By all accounts this should not have been close, and every game was. I understand that this isn't fully indicitive of comp due to 2 things: 1) the direction provided by emongg helps massively and 2) that everyone on both teams actually trying their best but regardless of those different factors it still demonstrates how problematic is is to play competitive with the variance of tanks. One game will go from having a tank who is ranks above vs then the next game having a tank who is ranks below. The variance feels awful. The same is true if when it happens with other roles but since there is 1 tank vs 2 DPS and 2 support, it is felt significantly less when the variance occurs on DPS or support vs than when it happens in the tank role.

You need to work on rock accuracy emong. That sigma juked you so many times. You have to expect the juke and not aim at him at last second and aim towards the tightest angle between you and him. Tight angle meaning you will have to rotate more to aim at him.
