I completely agree with Dave Kohler!!! Man o man. So much info in such a short video (relatively speaking). Been spending too much time on other RU-vidrs' vids with much less quality information. Please keep em rolling Barry! Thanks again!
first of all I want to thank you for the tutorial. what can you tell me about methods of color sampling during signal encoding and how many bits? thank you !
Basically exactly the same as the HMC152 but 4k and a couple of other things thrown in. I'm still using my HMC and hope to upgrade to one of these one day!! Great video Barry.
Does this camera not have a regular usb drive? I want to make sure I can put the video clips on my MacBook Pro before I buy it, I’m sure I can but I love it just being simple and plug in and download the clips. I also was looking to get the 180 so let me know! Great video!
Hi Barry, I have a UX 90... I am having audio sync and jump frames in my recorded videos. Using 128gb SDXC card in UHD 2160 / 23.98. Tried new Memory card. Same issue...
we have the panasonic ux series , and i want to mention we are struggling to get colors right even if you manually white balanced so far as iv seen on youtube , and chated with people they all have same problem file scenes or color matrix ( color pallete ) doesnt look right its almost but not right . Lcd its unusable in sunny day especially for wedding shoters , AutoFocus struggle to maintain focus in LowLight becuase of DFD.
Welcome. I have a HC-X1 camera. Apparently it has the same matrices as 90 and 180. I have a very dark image from this camera, some two aperture values e.g. depending on Sony PMW200. What do you think about it? is it at risk? Or maybe such a matrix property? In the Sony and Panasonic catalog they have the same F12 values at 2000 lux.
Hello Barry, this video of the AG-UX180 was recommanded to me to be quiete similar to the Panasonic HC-X1E, the camera I bought some days ago. Is there any essential difference to be mentioned?
I have the Panasonic UX180, and I am quite new to filming. How can I add an external monitor, and be able to see on the (external) monitor before pressing "record". I have an external Monitor plugged into the HDMI port in the back of the UX180. I only see video when I press "record". Also, the monitor has sound, which I have to turn all the way down because of the feedback. I have serious trouble seeing the tiny LCD Display. I appreciate any help! Thank you!
Hi, I just ordered the UX180 along with the DVX200. I haven't gotten the chance to use them properly yet and the UX180 stopped working. I keep getting error to turn it off then on again.
How is the zoom ring? I have an HMC150 and the options are rocker control or full manual, which is very rough... no servo dampening like my old Canons (XHA1 and XL-1). Is the zoom ring buttery smooth???
Bought one which arrived today, set time zone and clock only to end up with an error message telling me to switch off then back on, it does it every time I switch on, any ideas?
Dear Panasonic fan, and commenters! Recently I bought a new Panasonic AG-UX180 for myself. I use it for indoor shots in the studio. I noticed that the footage had a very,-very noisy (grainy) black background, which was terribly annoying. Previously, I used a Panasonic hc-vx 878 camera, where the black background was very-very nice and noise free. I probably need to set up my Panasonic AG-UX180 to somehow eliminate the black background, but unfortunately I'm an amateur. I welcome any advice. Thanks Sorry for my bad English.
I would take it back to the shop and tell them it's faulty and you want a replacement or your money back and buy the sony HCX2000 which is a far better camcorder.
Bought a brand new UX180, used it at a couple of shoots this weekend. Experienced AF blur which was shocking. IRIS, GAIN and WB set to manual Any help will be appreciated. I have to make an immediate decision if I should send this back! Link to a few problems clips ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xF_m5wYi3KM.html
