Christen Press is a player who doesn’t deserve to sit on the bench. Period. She’s a superstar and hopefully the new coach coming in will give Queen Pressy her much deserved starting position 💕
@@lindseyduran1901 they don't play in the same position. i think Morgan is overrated(no disrespect) but Press is a winger now, like Heath and Rapinoe, and has been for a while. So they can play together.
ADC....I've been saying this for years. Now, her prime years have been WASTED. Wasted by Ellis. Even well before this WC, she was 14th all time in scoring for the US and Ellis basically ships her overseas. I'm so thankful Ellis is gone.
@@sayansingha8474 ...I think Morgan is currently underrated by the fan base. They only see goals. They like shiny things. They (generally speaking) have no clue as to the work Morgan puts in for 90 minutes that leads to team success. She's the hardest working forward in the sport. Pino can't match it. Lloyd hasn't the agility. Heath has only completed ONE 90 minute game her entire career with the senior team (it's a stunning fact that people gloss over as they drool on her feet, her shiny feet). MacDonald is like Williams, fast without finishing capabilities, but with more brawn. Pugh, she needs a new coach. Ellis is ruining her. She had more presence and cohesion at 18 then after a couple years with Ellis (and injury). She's regressing. Press, I like Press as stated below. Yet, I don't follow the same "starter" mentality others fall victim to. I think Press is great off the bench and an important weapon in different roles. Much like Lloyd. If you're interested, I responded to another commenter, 2nd half I think, it had an interesting hot take on this Portugal game regarding Morgan and her absence.

Typical disrespectful attitude. It's these kind of actions that make me hate her more and more and society for encouraging it. I've watched her entire career.and what began as a sour attitude towards the refs has grown to complete diva status against all. She's gross. Society is gross. Fortunately, she doesn't have much left in the tank and will fade away after the olys.

Tobin Heath & Christen Press both play in England for Manchester United. I am a long Man Utd supporter & feel honoured to have both these awesome World Cup winners playing for United.
I wish this team had and every team to come learns from Rapinoe the strategic genius of a QUiCK and IMMEDIATE throw in- nobody has ever done it better. I hope all US players study her and replicate it.

Fans of Brian better get their fill as she's not going to last much longer. She won't physically make it to the next WC. She's skilled, but, she gets thrown around like a rag doll and her dainty frame just can't sustain it.
