I actually ended up clearing my skin with Aloe Vera. Here are the steps I took to control my acne and make it disappear. 1. Cleanse!!! 2.Just the Aloe Vera(for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off with water) 3.Toner(rose water) 4.Moisturizer(cetaphil ) I did this every morning and night for 2 weeks and the results were incredible (Btw I have combined skin but I’m not sure if this works for everyone)
When I was in 7th - 8th grade (even 6th), I had MAJOR blemishes. Literally, I had acne on my cheeks and in between my eyebrows but I never picked at it because before I didn’t really think much about it, I just thought it was normal and I didn’t even know about skincare products. But as I got older I started realizing what it was, and how to treat it. (I went to a dermatologist but it didn’t work out with the products I received) Then, by the end of freshman year (I had a skincare routine), and I am SO serious that this Aloe Vera plant has got rid of all the pimples I had in between my eyebrows and cheeks (I probably had like 6 in each cheek together) I blended the Aloe Vera gel and put it on my skin leaving it overnight (everyday) and washing it off in the morning. Changes started showing in a week, but them I kept using it for a month and my skin was soo much clearer. I never write long comments like this 😭 but I wouldn’t write this if it never worked for me but it did. My skin is so much nicer now and clear. If I get any blemishes now, they aren’t even noticeable and they’re small and flat (not bumpy) I’m glad I came across this thing. (Also my skin type is: Dry, Sensitive) Update (5/9/20): Thank you all so much for the positive comments! I truly wasn’t expecting to come back one year later, and having an impact on other people. If you’re reading this, I wish you the best on your skincare journey, and hope your skin is doing great ✨♥️
Thank you.. Your comment helped me very much. I am also a teenager and I am tired of my acnes. I have tried many products and remedies on my face. But nothing improved. And if I do any kind of makeup then my acnes break out. I have a aloevera plant in our house. I also own a dry an d sensitive skin. I will try this for sure... Thanks agai.😊
Anupoma Sneha Your welcome! I’m glad I could help you. I know acne is the worst, but we can still get through this. Stay positive and it will get better 😊
you’ve came a LONG way with your acne journey! your skin looks amazing! & i do agree, aloe vera didn’t work on my skin well either because i have acne prone skin but it DID give me a nice glow. i do recommend it, just not to people with acne prone skin because it wouldn’t help 100% .
Tried a few aloe vera products, from masks to ingested ones and even more. Used them religiously and most worked (but not well). The one that worked the BEST for me are the organic gel-ish types which I got it from: amzn.to/2GkqSbG
I love how confident you are to share your struggles with skin care! So many ladies only show the full makeup. Seeing another's struggles normalizes it and creates positive self-esteem, thank you! :)
Your skin has come such a long.. way since watching, which i know you were struggling with for a while. Your skin is Glowing and snatched as always, but where you want it to be bianca and i am soo happy for you girl😊😙
I've been using ice and aloe vera gel for the past few months and have noticed that new breakouts do not scar and remedy in a shorter time. Your skin looks great! Xoxo
I tried using aloe Vera (plant) in my face after I watched your video about it. It's effective coz my skin is so much better now. I even planted one haha
I’ve tried oatmeal and turmeric masks with Greek yogurt , honey, and cinnamon (to bring up your blood circulation) this can help a lot with dark spots and eliminate pimples , it helped lighten up my blemishes from scarring so much ... I’ve had so much issues with my skin and I’m gonna try to share advise on my channel with masks I’ve used to help my skin . You’ve inspired me to even add skin care to my channel ! Thank you .
hi bianca, ive been subscribed to you for almost a year now after seeing your videos popping up on my recommended and never felt the need to comment. after watching some of your videos and seeing your improvements with acne, i am so pleased that you’re finally kicking acnes butt haha. i originally subscribed to you because i found that your very relatable for me, a 16 year old suffering with acne and it’s just nice to know someone else is going through the same thing as me and is dealing with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation aswell as acne. it saddened me when the aloe didn’t work for you originally, because even as a teenager dealing with acne marks ive felt like ive watch every single video on the internet, people recommending “tomatoes, lemons potatoes aloe salicylic acid” and even turmeric which hasn’t done anything for my skin. ive felt like im losing this battle to acne right now, ive tried everything and nothing is working for me and people have began making comments about my skin. i couldn’t imagine ever being in the position where i had to make content showing my skin without adequate makeup and i was thrilled when i saw someone, a brown girl, going through the same thing as me. this gives me hope, that even though my family can’t afford to consult a dermatologist, that one day i know i can put an end to my battle. honestly made my day to see the huge smile on your face in your skincare video, im just wishing one day i could smile like that. acne really tears down your self confidence, and i hope you know that i love you so much and appreciate the content you put out for us girls and boys who struggle from acne too. it provides us with hope that we’re not the only people going through this and that it’s temporary although it feels like it’ll never go away. you’re an angel.
hello, hi ceyda!! ur name sounded just like my cat ceydo hehe. im 14 rn and been struggling with acne since like 10 or younger (bc of genetic i guess), but 10 is when the pimples started to really show up on my forehead... for now my forehead is doing okay just bumps rarely break out there :). i feel like the forehead pimple is like a phase, i tried like 2-3 diff brand- (didnt really work btw) cant really do anyt abt it so i just let it be. but rn my cheeks are the worse, theres always gotta be a new pimple popping up saying hello sometimes (once in a week or so). but now ceyda how are u and ur skin doing rn? if u have any tips for now, pls let a girl know!! really hope that u'll get to answer this :) thanks!
You should use the aloe with your normal skincare routine. That way you’re also giving it a better chance and it will just improve the results of your normal skincare products
I’m so depressed because of hyperpigmentation but your energy and confidence give me hope. I tried everything pills, creams, chemical peel, DIY.. etc lots of PAIN and waste of money.
Same problem. But I was put on yaz birth control or the generic cause it's free with insurance, and 2 years later now all I have to focus on is the scarring. Using aloe Vera has significantly changed my life. The yaz treats the hormonal acne which can only be cured by balancing the hormones, and the plant heals the skin and lightens my scars. I'm finally able to walk out the house without makeup and I couldn't be happier. Give it a try, you owe it to yourself. I know the sadness you feel, trust me, my face was MONSTROUS! Not even over exaggerating. It was the most depressing time in my life and I wouldn't even leave the house for months. If you need an easy and quick way to be prescribed yaz birth control just sign up with the pill club and they'll send it straight to your door. Another plus of yaz is you have the option to skip your period (which we all know periods bring on breakouts). So I know that helped me significantly as well. Hopefully this helps, if not I'm praying for your skin to heal 🙏🏽❤️
When I got diagnosed with HSV 2 it was hell for me, had the worst days, Mental breakdown, crying not eating or sleeping either. I was restless looking for alternatives to get rid of this virus in my system. not until I stumbled upon a video on RU-vid about Dr. Aloha’s Herbal Medication and how effective they are. I reached out to him through his email: Alohaherbalhome@gmail.com and followed the instructions given on how to use the Herbal Medication. To my greatest surprise, it worked perfectly and today makes it a month and two weeks of testing Negative to HSV 2 after making use of his Organic Herbal Medication. It’s so amazing regaining my health back to normal and ridding my body of Herpes. I've been trying out aloe vera for acne clearing and it's working wonderfully! I had acne for about 2-3 years and it affected my confidence and happiness. I tried a bunch of different products and tips but nothing really worked for me until I decided to try the aloe! The steps I took include: 1. I have an aloe vera plant so I just chopped off a leaf. 2. After retrieving my aloe vera, I cut the leaf into 3-4 sections, each around two inches long. 3. Afterwards, I cut off one side of the lead stuck onto the gel and use a spoon to scoop out the aloe vera. 4. I mash it up in a spoon and plop it into an old moisturizer container and store it into a fridge. 5. I use it a few hours before I went to sleep by applying it with my fingers ALL over. Don't skimp out on the aloe ;) 6. I washed it off and just did my regular skincare routine afterwards. I've been doing it for about 2 weeks and my skin has cleared up considerably. I still have some tiny bumps on my forehead but not nearly as much as I did before and some hormonal acne on my chin but those are clearing up nicely.
Hi! I use aloe vera gel as a night cream. 👍 I wash my face and after patting my skin dry i put the gel over my race and let i sit over night. I'm 56 years old and, my skin just love it! I live in Sweden.. ❤️
I used aloe vera to treat acne, and something I've learned from my experience is that with natural remedies you have to be very patient. you will not notice changes in a week, you need at least a month to notice results. aloe vera is very effective for the skin, it helped me a lot to cure my acne :)
Aloe vera is real medication. It’s natural. There is also tea tree oil & vitamin E oil that is natural. Aloe vera is better for tightening skin & making it glow. Not really for getting rid of blemishes. I have really bad acne prone skin too & it honestly sucks ass, but you really motivate me to work as hard as possible to clear my skin.
i find the aloe vera helps me a lot to soothe an inflammation of acne (especially ones that are under the skin) and it doesn’t itch as much anymore👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
So I just watched this, and I am going to try this as well! Now, my acne is not as severe, but I did notice a huge difference in my skin when I changed my diet to a complete plant based (vegan) diet. At least when I cut out dairy, my skin got phenomenally better. So I'm wondering, if you're eating dairy, maybe try cutting that out of your diet as an experiment for a couple weeks and see how your skin does? Thank you so much for this video though and I look forward to seeing more and trying new things :) THANKS!
5 years late lol. Looking back I'm realizing so many of us had pustular folliculitis rather than acne and were being misdiagnosed, which is maybe at least partly why we struggled so much to heal it. Now that I know what's really going on & treat these random crop ups as infections/wounds, I can recover so much more quickly. Hope your skin is still thriving to this day!
We also have to be mindful of the things we put into our body. We are what we eat. Stay away from sugary foods because those are trigger points. Eat more fruits and vegetable, and drink lots of water. Make green smoothies. Try a combination of herbs that helps with acne. You should mix all the herbs together that help with acne. For example, lavender, curcuma longa, chamomile, calendula, Rosemary, dandelions , Basil, yarrow, and etc...
You were honest about breaking the cycle with your aesthetician recommendations😂. Thank you for letting us know it won’t be perfect always but we gotta try. Your skin looks wast better than some of your old vids I’ve watched. Keep doing it!!!
If you keep the aloe vera whole day, or more than an hour...it will dry your skin. 15-30mins is good enough after you cleanse your face Then rinse it off and use your toner and moisturizer I do it at night
I have used aloe Vera in the past on my skin and it kinda left a film and more breakouts. Not enough to fight acne at all. Your skin is looking amazing lady!!!!!!!!!
Baking soda helped me a lot on my skin care routine I just use regular soap (it's actually the ones babies use because I have very sensitive skin) and I mix a bit of baking soda and rub it on the places where pimples are prone like the cheeks and forehead and wash it off so far my skin is way better than 5 months ago
I have an aloe vera plant that is growing very nicely. Maybe too nicely because I NEED to separate and repot them. Anyhoo, I harvested a few leaves and put the gel alone in an ice cube tray. Put some of the gel on my hands. Wow! I understand why it’s used in lotions and creams. So soft!
We used aloe for sun burns since childhood. It's number one! We would get bad burn and after some aloe (3-4 rubs in severe burns) it would turn to tan and the skin would not rip off. The sun is very harsh in summer in my country so no matter how much you try to be careful, one drop in the sea and you're burned. But aloe is magic for skin repair. It cures a lot of heat burns, not only sun burns.
I live in Barbados . Aloe vera plants are everywhere (no big deal) . You rub aloe slime on your skin and your skin will get more oily. The oils will ooze out of your skin worse than ever. Been there done that.
With colder climates? Sorry I just want to know I've been buying them from lidl and it isn't working I'm wondering if they aren't organic or have some weird stuff in it I'm just breaking out
Your skin is still in an amazing state so kudos for getting the extra help as needed!! Thanks for trying it at least it makes your skin tight and glowing!
OOOOOOMG Like how girl. I watched ur 1 week aloe vera challenge vid. long ago and after sooo many days yt recommended ur vid for me n I'm like super shocked n happy for u at the same time after seeing such a great progress of ur skin.
I grew up in a Caribbean island so I have a lot of experience with aloe, the biggest problem is you’re not actually using the aloe in your videos. You are using the slime which is actually toxic, you need to soak the aloe in water and get that slimy stuff to come off of it. the clear hard gel that is left behind is actually what aloe vera gel is ~the slime is not the gel !!!that stuff is really toxic to the body. And also you should use it kind of like a mask I need to rinse it off because it will clog your pores
You might have had a break out because you didn't wash the aloe after cutting it. Aloe Vera leaves have a yellow sap which can cause irritation to some people's skin.
Honestly having a small alovera plant that you use sparingly will save a lot of money, AND gives a lot of benifits in your home environment, in terms that people believe that it helps increase clean oxygen flow. Just a suggestion.
Ok, I am using aloe vera currently and it has been pleasing me day after day without fail. The first week I experienced PURGING as aloe increases the cell turnover rate so it will surface underlying blemishes. BUT they heal quickly and COMPLETELY with daily use. Aloe also increases collagen production !!. But I REALLY recomend putting the cut pieces in water and soak them overnight to remove the irritating substance !
Thanks Mz Bianca Rene!! It's so amazing. We have a lot of this plant. I did not realize it's value. So now I will try it and keep you posted. A million thanks to you. But I will treat my friend who has acne on her face. Take care and God bless!!! Remain beautiful inside out.
buy the plant and use the fresh aloe vera, it works WAY better and it rly does NOT smell ALSO each person is different so each thing will work differently for each person, but when u r trying a new product it usually takes time to see a real result, so if u gonna try aloe vera, try for at least a month (just warning, i know she has tried that before too)
I’ve used aloe vera for a year and my skin is so much better. I leave it overnight. I had too much acne on my face too but now they are all gone and yes I didn’t use anything else on my face. Aloe vera is a life saviour for me.
Really aloe vera ice cube or aloe vera gel is one of the most wonderfully working cleanser face...I freezed aloe vera and honey into an ice cube and it worked marvellously to remove the pimple marks and made my skin further glowy and beautiful
My daughter had bad eczema on her legs, steroid cream works but then it comes straight back, I spent £60 on different creams then thought I would give aleo Vera a try! WOW! Unbelievable!! It’s almost ALL GONE!! I put it on religiously twice a day morning and night. This is really important, one morning on a weekend we had a lazy day so didn’t put any on in the morning, in the evening then it had flared up again when I went to apply it. I just can’t believe this has cleared it up!
Thanks for sharing. Alot of people skin react differently to different products. What may work for you may not work for someone else. So its good to see how it works for you.😊
I used aloe vera after cleansing and exfoliating my skin and it worked really well. My skin was also really dry and literally dehydrated. It's a lot like a gel, so, my oily, thick skin loves it. You should try using as little soap as possible on your skin. Like, only when you sweat, are dirty, or just really oily. I don't use soap unless its been a few days and haven't bathed (or my skin is nasty)., or I've been sweating, or stink. You should also try a glycolic acid, lactic acid, or an AHA/BHA solution. The Ordinary is really good. They have AHA and BHA serums. It will exfoliate your skin without using an exfoliating cleanser. Also hyaluronic acid might work really well for you. I've also been looking hyaluronic acid, and take a B-vitamin. That really helped my skin. Those B vitamins fortified it and it was happy again.
Aloe is my go to for everytime, where im from aloe is easy to grow, and so my skin is annoying me right now in the winter time but it totally cools , moisturizes and heal my skin so its really good
Just wanted to throw this out there, I found aloe vera leaves about twice as big as yours for 1:99 at Fresh Thyme. I don't see them there often but they have a bunch in recently so feel free to check it out to get really good aloe vera.
Also, some people just have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and should make sure that all things that touch them especially their face is clean. Wash your face and body twice a day, wash your pillows, pillow cases and overall bedding once a week, make a habit of washing your hands regularly, drink water (especially akaline water), eat more fruits and veggies (avos & tomatoes are the best). CUT OFF DAIRY FROM YOUR DIET. Avoid touching your face or letting others do the same. SLEEP MORE also keep hair out of your face :-)
@@paigeswan7768 when you get a single strand knot, take some water and conditioner or oil and just smooth it out with your fingers from the bottom of the knot and go upward it will detangle and release the loose strand causing the knot
1-Leave aloe vera gel on your face all the night and wash it in the morning, make sure u add more aloe on your acne. 2-buy acne gel from any pharmacy that dry out acne, use it on daily basis(contains VitaminB3) 3-At morning, wash your face 2 times with water only and make sure the second time u don't rub your face with towel, let it dry alone 4-use a liquor for acne and cleansing(from pharmacy) on a cotton and rub your forehead with, that will clean deeper. 5-always remove makeup at night or when u finish of it,use a cleanser for that(coz it removes makeup easier) 6-Hope this help😧💛
Jasmarie Whyte it’s a real thing as crazy as it sounds lol my friend when she was younger went to camp where they did a polar plunge( basically jumping in freezing water ) after doing water challenges in the cold... needless to say when she jumped in her entire body swelled up and turned purple, her legs were numb so her friend has to pull her out
The ice challenge for me has worked, but I didn’t get the idea from you sadly. I did it for a week and I noticed that I broke out less and less over time. I stopped using the ice to see if that was what was helping my skin (since I was also using a costume made product). Once I stopped using the ice my skin broke out again and the product started irritating my skin so I stopped that all together. I now have came back to the ice and I’m hoping to see results like it did before. I encourage you to try the ice challenge. I can’t guarantee it working for you, but it did work for me.
When i put aloe vera plant directly on my skin. I just was slimy and got more oily skin and did not help my ski The st ives blemish control apricot scrub did work (was recommended by another utuber mariaagloria ). That did work.
I put tea tree oil in my aloe vera and do it at least once a day. Although I've only been doing it for around a week, it seems to be working pretty well.
I dunno if anyone will see this comment but I hope it helps some stranger across the world, Firstly , please guys, stop running ice cubes directly on yr skin. Ice is very rough on a microscopic level and can really cause irritation and further breakout. As a much better alternative , rather get a decent sized bowl that yr Face can fit into, put yr ice into the bowl and fill ti about half way with tap water. For me, I use the whole tray of ice so that the water gets really cold. Find the right temperature for you. But basically you'rer dipping yr face into really cold water instead of directly applying the ice. For me, this has been unbelievably helpful and after 2 weeks of doing this 3-4 times a day, the results are fantastic. Try it out for yourself. Also, be sure to cut out carbs and sugar from your daily meals to see the best results. Please try this out and id love to know if it helped somebody
