I am in NJ and we don't have any Kroger or their family of stores in our area. However, my daughter did an internship in Colorado last Summer, and would shop at City Market and she liked it and always found good sales. (especially for the area she was in, which was super pricey!) I wish we had them around here!!

No we have Fred Meyer that is all we have in eastern Washington. We shop at Albertsons with the deals and discounts or Walmart which I hate shopping and sometimes Winco. That’s probably why we don’t got as many deals.

In WA state we have a Fred Meyer bur everything has the Kroger lable on it. Fred Meyer has the best produce in my area it lasts much longer than walmart/winco. Its my preferred store!

Yeah Fred Meyer I think was bought by Kroger at some point so it's under the Kroger umbrella. Kroger has many different names across the county

What method do you use to defrost meat/chicken ? I've always been worried no matter what method it will be bad .

I usually pull out what I need for the next day the night before and thaw in the refrigerator. If I forget though I will double bag the meat and thaw in a bowl of cold water. Making sure to change the water so it stays cold.

I unfortunately don't have a Kroger here in Minnesota, but it sounds cool. Must be a southern state place?! We have like Walmart, Target, Aldi, Cub foods
