I would love to see an option to condense the size for transport/use with half the ball capacity (ie just big enough to accommodate one case of 72 balls when ball well compartment is zipped down to the smaller size... this would also make it more easily transportable and stored in small spaces, and accommodate carrying it in backpack mode of covering uneven terrain or snow getting it to the court. Also, as a beginner, I’d love the option to narrow the osolatation pattern
Hi there! It's been a year since your last review. Can you kindly update us on this review. Have you had any mechanical issues or any other breakdowns? Would you still buy a Slinger over the Silent partner.
Greetings. Thanks for watching. I still love this. Here's. Recent video of the unit in operation: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LS2dW8DBrso.html I'll post more when it get warmer. The battery life is fantastic - hours of playing, and held charged during the winter. Have a nice day!
@@AWAShowme Thanks for the reply. The reason I'm inquiring is because Im in the process of buying a machine this week. I'm on the fence over the slinger or the silent partner. Both have their pros and cons. More specifically I was wondering if the SP can to be set at the lowest feed and speed of 1 and 1 on the dials for very slow balls trajectory to use Silent partner on your own side of the court. I've read a few mixed reviews that SP isn't configured and does not properly release balls and sometime none at all when set at the slowest setting your own side of court? Is this correct ? Any thoughts on that scenario. Your feedback is appreciated 🙂
@@pm8196 You're welcome. I have not had any negative experiences with this. I have set it up a few feet from me to fee me the balls so I can serve. I would catch the balls from a slow speed and feed, then serve. No problems. Never had a ball stuck, never had a malfunction. Enjoy!
@@AWAShowme I want to clarify I was referring to silent partner you had in the past . Can it be used at very slowest speed and feed settings on a player's own side of the net. Hope that my question is more clear 🙂
So the way you use silent partner: 1.5 hour each time, 4-5 times a week and 4 weeks a month without charging. That is 24 hours - 30 hours continuous use.
That's a bit much. Just include time between for ball retrieval, during which the machine is off. 5-6 rounds at about 9 minutes each. Still a lot of exercise. Really looking forward to the spring.
Would you recommend this Slinger Bag over your previous Silent Partner egde machine? My biggest gripe against the Slinger is that the max speed is only 45mph and provides no backspin :/ Cool review btw!
It seems the silent partner are making a lite version that is about 35-40 pounds. Considering this it seems to have the best of both worlds except for the phone charging and pockets.
@@akio2730 Silent Partner Edge's base model is currently 799$ CAD, while as the Slinger Bag in Canada costs roughly around 800$ after import fees and shipping and whatnot, I suppose it really depends on where you are and which one is more accessible to you.
Warning balls come out with top spin only !!!!! MACHINE IS UNABLE TO CHANGE THAT ! MACHINE IS UNABLE TO SHOOT THE BALL FROM THE BASE LINE TO THE OTHER BASELINE !!!!!!
