Hello all, Corned Beef is a traditional salt cured beef brisket. Try this for your special occasions.
Ingredients:
Boneless beef 3-5kg
For preserving:
Cooled boiled water - 3ltrs
Peppercorns, Juniper berries, Cinnamon sticks, Corriander seeds and spices of your choice - toasted and crushed
Brown sugar 150g
Himalayan salt 100g
Rock salt 200g
Refrigerate for 5-10days.
Before you cook drain and wash the meat.
Then cook in water until its soft.
Serve with cassava and vegetables of your choice
