To all texas fans saying oregon just buys player oregon doesn't even have the largest NIL collective we have the 3rd and guess who has the 4th texas o don't wanna hear anything about buying players especially from texas yall could literally match our offer if yall wanted to
Just for clarification I think the longhorn fanbase is low key one of the more chill fanbases yall are cool that was just for a few that get mad butthurt and started saying dumb stuff that they don't even understand
People are seriously underrating recruiters in the NIL era. Oregon was recruiting strong before NIL. WR coach Junior Adams just had 3 of his star studded recruits at Washington go to the NFL. Oregon intentionally hired star recruiters. We have to - we have a weak recruiting footprint in the PNW so we have to go to California, Texas, Florida to land these big bodies and star players. NIL only gets you so far. You have to convince these players that the coaches are aces - and they have.
You’re right. We have more money than y’all it was about him wanting to be in that WR room more than ours. Y’all are really starting to cost us some money though.
@@Ssschahexactly born and raised Oregon fan and our best football days was days w 2 and 3 stars like Mariota Herbert Dixon etc. I think everyone looks at Nike and thinks that’s the only thing but we literally hired Lanning and his staff bc they were the top of the top recruiters and it’s paying off. On top of that these kids grew up w Oregon being more relevant than Texas, Florida Tennessee Miami etc all of that plays into recruiting yes Nike has some to do w it but I really think it’s that staff Lanning built is what’s most dangerous to all the others
Duck 🦆 fan here. Classy broadcast. As a Duck we’ve had our many disappointing moments. In the end Texas is solid. It isn’t all about money A guy like this will get the money. Tough choices for these young guys.
As an Oregon fan for over 35 years who lived in Austin in 2010 I must say that Eugene and Austin are very similar in the “vibe and energy” of each city. I love Austin! The tex-mex is worth living there alone. But Austin is hot af, and it’s huge now after the masses of people moved there since Covid started. I can def understand why Texas guys who like the horns are loving Eugene too, it’s a smaller version of that Austin glory with a more moderate climate. It’s probably a lil cheaper to live in Eugene too. And the football fans in Eugene are just as supportive and fanatical as any fans in the nation. There are going to be many players who like both programs and who lean towards Oregon because it is special and they can utilize all of the innumerable resources Oregon provides to help them develop and reach their ultimate long term goals💚
Bruh..did you say the TexMex food was worth the stay in Austin??? Sorry but Austin and Houston got the worst Mexican food in Texas 😂 Take a trip to a barrio cafe in San Antonio someday.
As a USC i really enjoy the positive attitude here. Of course you are disappointed but no nastiness here. Respect. You got the number One offensive lineman out of California from mater dei it happens
Relationships won this recruitment. Junior Adams is one of the best WR recruiters (and coaches) in the country and Rashad Samples (new RB coach) is an ace recruiter. Also helps that Samples is the son of the current Duncanville HC
Texas complaining about NIL while they are lining up the Lambos. Who is really about the flash? Oregon has a dynamic offense, young coaches, and one of if not the best track in the world.
_"Texas can match any NIL package in the county ... "_ Been trying to tell that to some salty Texas fans. A lot of them are absolutely _shocked_ and _appalled_ that Phil Knight would just _buy_ a recruit like that. 😅 I think there's not much doubt at all thay Texas's NIL collective was right there with Oregon's number. Talkin about Texas here -- they ain't poor. No such silliness from this show, though. Y'all are a classy, adult bunch. As for who was a better fit -- I'm not sure the name Arch Manning inspires quite as much worshipful reverence in your typical highschool prospect as it does among adult Texas fans.
Duck fan here. Look Texas is going to be completely fine going forward. I have no doubt about it, and it feels like people seem to forget that these are just kids making decisions for their future and where they feel like they will thrive. I wish everybody could respect their decisions, but unfortunately, that isn't the case. Wish you guys the best of luck in the SEC!
It hurts but ain’t a killer guys! The WR room is very healthy right now. DL is more of importance right now. Sark recruits to the END he has time. Maybe DK Moores round 3 commitment might be back here!🤷🏽♂️ 😉 And NOPE!!! 2 jerseys are more than enough. Like sark says you play for the university not the eye candy. The only eye candy that is given on the field to the apposing defenses.
I don't worry about the wide receiver position bc like running back they're a dime a dozen. You can have an incredible talent like this young man and that's great but production that comes from receivers can come from all types of players small, tall, average speed, elite speed, etc. as long as we have an elite QB the skill position will fall into place.
Also also on the subject of uniforms, I'd love to see a play on the Browns uni a chocolate brown with a metallic burnt orange popping through would hit harder than prime iron Mike
The school he chose will be starting a brand new QB again when he gets on campus. Call me salty or whatever, but that’s just not wise. Anyway, let’s just go beat the brakes off of everybody with the straight up DUDES we’ve got on the roster right now 🤘🏻
Every QB Oregon has will have been in their 2nd or 3rd year in their system. Moore, who’ll likely be the starter, already has a season of starting experience. None of Texas’s backups can say the same.
@@XxDayDay12xX Wrong and uninformed. Arch Manning will literally be in his 2nd full year, and will come in having played in multiple SEC games in 2024.
Battles for Athletes like this are going to happen every year. No one school wins them all, 1 player doesn’t define a team. The only time this will come to a head is if in 2025 UT and UO go head to head for the Natty and that’s a big what if. However there’s a good chance we see each other this year, good luck to the Longhorns. Ya’ll have a good program
This Moore guy doesn't hurt us...not filling the defensive line is what what is hurting us. I am glad Moore is gone.his whole recruiting schtick was a set up from the beginning. I had my doubts about him when he finagled a big fancy party for himself and and his kin. He was like the chick that maxes out a perpetual friend zone chump's credit card whenever she wants just cuz she she just so damn fine🙄.now the fan base can move on from this will he won't he circus and concentrate on the defense. We are in SEC country, and unless our defense is balls to the wall lights out week to week, we will struggle. So defense rules....and TEXAS FIGHT, MUTHAFUKAS!!!💪
