Eating bubblegum is not illegal in Singapore my guy, selling bubblegum without a permit IS illegal Making a statement because everyone keeps getting the wrong concepts. Selling gum without a permit is illegal, but chewing it in public is absolutely fine, you just have to dispose of it safely Everyone is just believing anything these days

@@BlackGuardian0 yeah, there is a meme that "there was no секс in Soviet Union" because saying "have sex" was considered indecent for a Soviet people, most often said "Making love"
@@Leningrad1 Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. HEY THERE 🤗 JESUS IS CALLING YOU TODAY. Turn away from your sins, confess, forsake them and live the victorious life. God bless. Revelation 22:12-14 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Technically speaking, geschlechtsverkehr is the German word for 'Sexual Intercourse', it can also be shortened to 'geschlechts' and just 'sex' is also used a lot. Edit: Apparently 'Geschlechts' is the equivalent to gender, so for the action of sex, just 'sex' is used. I also learned that 'Verkehr' means traffic, so Geschlechtsverkehr directly translates to 'gender traffic'
@@PJ-ama I was actually not aware of that distinction, German is my second language and I’ve only heard people say “Geschlecht” and I assumed it was like in English where sex is both a trait and an action.

For those who don't understand the russia joke, in soviet times there was saying ," in USSR we have no sex", talking about it was a pretty taboo subject, since it was considered inappropriate. After the fall of USSR , this phrase lasted for a decade after it, and then it became kind of a meme phrase , when describing strict rules of those times or when old people start to talk about how good it was to live in Soviet Union. BUT for those curious it sounds a lot like an England variant.
Прикол в том, что СССР в начале своего существования был в шаге от САМОЙ МАСШТАБНОЙ (для того времени) сэксуальной революции. Вспомнить тот же принцып "стакана воды", но чёт не срослось...
@@turinmormegil7715Singaporean here. One of our more famous laws is against bubble gum - no one can sell it here because we didn't want people sticking it everywhere and making the place dirty. Note that a common misconception is that no one can *have* it: consumption isn't banned, just sale and import; i've personally went to Malaysia and brought back some.
They say kjønn which is technically correct since sex is woman or man, but in this case where I think they mean sexual intercourse (since thats what the german says) it is wrong.

@@Gabriel-z7o1q sex's other definition refers to gender, or more specfically, how living things are divided into 2 main categories (male and female) by their reproductive functions.
@PJ-ama I don't actually know, but it may be Modern Adaptation? Like we had in Russia. We have a word "Причина" (Reason) but it same time, we have "Резон" (Reason). The same meaning, but one it's a Natsional Russian word, another it's just Adaptation of English word. We even have a term for this - Borrowed words (or just Englicism if it is, for example, taken from English). It's may be the same for Germany? I don't expert at this, just a my theory.
