It’s not too complicated with the right tools. I did a lot of research on RU-vid for compatible parts and build recommendations. My rear hub was Shimano (as most are) and offered a lot of possibilities for upgrade.

@@joshuawhiteadventurefilms what is your main bike? Is it a hard tail too?

Yes, it’s a 2021 Giant Talon 1. It’s a small frame with 27.5” wheels. My Specialized is a medium frame with 26.5” wheels. Both now have the same gear configuration.
