A lot of people have been asking for an earthquake repair update video for Ebisu Circuit. I show you all the tracks & repair updates. Everything is pretty much finished now. Just some more improvements are being added & it's all done.

Track would be a grade 4 at auction but should be an R as its had repair work 😆 Seriously amazing and inspiring job to rebuild and also even improve after such a terrible disaster. Cant wait to see rallying on the old minami track!

If driftland turns into a parking lot they have a perfect opportunity to build a path down to Nishi, maybe have a pedestrian bridge that crosses over top of the track? I dunno.

Bridges are ungodly expensive even in the flattest and most geologically stable areas. To build one on the side of a mountain in an area prone to earthquakes and up to japanese safety standards would be a massive undertaking. Personally I'd much rather see the money go towards the tracks. It's a great idea especially from a media/photography perspective but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

It's always good to see a Sammit vid, but this one was extra special, Sam! I loved the update, showing us around the area a little and giving us a little cultural info, but especially those shots with the lanterns and the stage being set up. This channel just keeps getting better! Much love, Sam!

It's awesome to see how far Ebisu circuit has come scene the earthquake I donated $25USD which isn't much but with all the other people who gave money the drift community now has Ebisu Circuit back and it's ready to rock. The lanterns do look beautiful and your footage at the end was awesome nice work Sam

Lots of grass roots events and affordable schools/drift experience places in almost every country not just Japan. You can have an authentic sideways experience in lots of places without spending a fortune.

For an uncapped subathon you should use the model that desert bus for hope used. The number of donations/subs required for the next hour (after a certain point) increased exponentially. Thus the first extra hour, in thier case, started at 1000$ for example, then the 2nd hour was 2 k but the 3rd was 4 and so on. Thier streams still ran for 8-9 days but it kept things from getting out of hand

If you're familiar with construction, it's very apparent that they spent a lot of money on those renovations. The way it's graded, it could easily be a ski hill or even a halfpipe. I would go as far as saying they possibly went overbudget already but it's for the better because the track is getting better and mostly ready to rip.

Matts the only person ive seen run minami as it is now, but seeing it from up top is just crazy. Im probly one of few people not bothered about it getting converted considering its probly the biggest car killing drift track in the world

In Hungary, if there's a small pothole, and they do decide to fix it, it takes min. 2 years (Btw most of the roads are absolute shit, some dirt roads are better)
