I've really underestimated the power of testosterone, so life changing. I really enjoy seeing timelines explaining the differences that are possible because of it. :)
Well depends on Situation. In some, men get called creeps thanks to all the actual creeps that ruin it for us. Then you have places where men are still expected to act tough and stronger and if they aren't, they are the underdog and get bullied terribly in schools
You're such an inspiration, I've only known about you for four days and I'm already amazed by how much of an inspiration you are to everyone ❤ (lgbtq+ members and supporters)
It was really great to see Tucker again, and the update was awesome. It's been nice seeing you interview different people, Benton-hope to see more and updates! c:
I start T in January after waiting for so long! i can't wait until I can see these changes in myself too! Congratulations to you both for your success in your journeys, and I hope to join you in your success soon!
I'm starting the transition and I'm very excited. I live in Brisbane, Australia so I'm going to a place called clinic 30 however there's a big waiting list. I get a legal name change in the next few weeks however. :) Always great to watch your videos Benton.
last week i gone to taco bell. i was getting lunch for me and friends i was ordering this man came up and said "thats alot of food my man". i was shocked i laughed and he started talking like we knew each other forever. 8 months ago that would have never happened
I especially have noticed how differently people treat you based on your assumed gender at conventions. If the stars just see me (like in photo ops) they assume I'm male and if they see my name (in autograph sessions) they assume I'm female. Now the moment they realize I (still) have a female name they're all friendly 'that's a lovely name'. I'm not saying they're not friendly towards male fans but it's different. They don't pull you in a hug like they do with their female fans. Even though I'd love to hug them. So yeah, everything comes with advantages and disadvantages
One of the main things that concern me in regards to transitioning male to female is the likelihood of losing opportunities I would otherwise have without transitioning.
Is there any chance you could get Tucker to talk about how he came out to his family and how it went? I remember in the last video he was about to start T and he hadn't told them yet and I am a month on T and haven't told my family yet so would be good to hear how it went for him :)
Whenever I get the idea that, now is the time to tell people, I cower away even though I know that its only a couple days of awkward. The human brain is so weird in that way.
Can you talk about dating? Whenever people find me attractive and I explain to them that I'm male then they back off ;-; how did you deal with finding people that are accepting and understanding before starting T? If you did have trouble
I haven't started on testosterone yet, and I'm anxious about one thing; everyone says I would not look good with short hair... I have a girly face too, and I'm not sure if I should keep my long hair when I start taking testosterone. Any tips?
OMFg i loved it when benton was listing the names of ppl & tucker just ."people cooler than you." "dEGENERES what" "n-nothing" 😂😂😂👏 that burn was unfortunately left out 2 DRY HONEY. 😂 honestly tho i love y'all so much 😀❤ hhehe
Damn thats why I want to be a man! I want to be treated like them. Peoples judgement is more flexible on guys, girls is just straight to the way you look!
why is it so hard for transgender people to find jobs? i mean i guess i just don't understand how it would matter what someones gender is as long s they can get the job done? maybe they're scared of what the customers would think?but if i went to a store and i saw a transgender employee i would think that's pretty cool that they wouldn't discriminate against someone in that situation... idk i guess i might be a little more open minded about those sorts of things than most people would be or maybe i'm over thinking it lol we should riot jkjk xD
+theFrealTmeM im transgender myself (I gave my birthname on this account because tbh im too lazy to make another one haha) and honestly im still new to everything and am clueless on most things as you can clearly see haha
