Just got my RK25 yesterday. Under the weather now but can't wait to feel better and get to work with it. Bucket and backhoe but I have some accessories with my old Ferguson TO25 I'll see if they work with the new one. Your videos have been helpful. Thank you
We bought a rk 25 at my work, 10 months ago. Got 200 hours on it, 195 of the hours are from just me. Works great. I disconnected the auto throttle cable under the pedals. Auto throttles is good for some things but can be annoying at times. We mostly run forks. Also use a 7 ft finish mower with it.
Enjoy your vids. Got mine about 2 months ago and love it. 28 hrs so far. I agree, once you have it, you think of more things to use it for and save your back. Now at 66, I'd rather use it than try and prove how strong I still am. Looking forward to your next installment.
I really enjoy your videos, they’re very informative. I bought my RK25 in December of 21, I’m also a first time tractor owner. I love it, so far no problems, it only has 18 hours on it. My biggest problem is time, I work full time, 6 days a week, I will be working it a lot more as I’m getting ready to retire for a 2nd and final time I April 23, once again thanks for the very informative videos. Oh I got the grapple, pallet forks and hydraulic top link, getting ready to purchase a roto tiller

Thanks for the awesome video on the RK25! I ordered mine 3 months ago with a grappler, bucket, and backhoe. RK says it will be ready in November. Can't wait!
@@gatheringrusthobbyfarm8081 Thank for checking! Drove nearly 2 hrs to RK in Sweetwater, TN and they did not have the tractor ready for me to take home. Ended up canceling the order and getting a tractor from a dealer closer to home - Branson 2400h.

Like-wise l will get an RK25 WHEN they build in a 3(THREE) Range hydrostatic OR an 8×8 synchronised shuttle shift transmission. Have 3 other tractors with such transmission's-- NO cheep 2 speed hydro-holw-slack-o-matic's on the property.
Very informative video Denny. I wish I could go back to 2018. I bought John Deere 3025 E. It's not half the your RK 25 is. I've had mine back to the dealership with hydraulic issues, and electrical problems. The hydraulics are very weak on my tractor. I cannot pick 500#s with my loader. If I'm picking up or spreading gravel or dirt, I can only pick a half bucket at a time. A 55 gallon drum of diesel which weighs shy of 500 lbs. I can only get it about 2"s off the ground if I curl my bucket then I can drag it backwards. This is at fun rpms too. In the 4 and half years I've owned it, I have only put about 80 hours on it. The RK 25 is nearly the same frame size as mine. Very disappointed with not only my tractor but the dealership are just about as useless. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences with us. HI Dean! I agree with Mr Rust. However, that tractor is rated to lift the same as the RK25 or very similar. There is a serious problem if it can only lift 500. Is the transmission fluid clear? You might want to check out a different dealer.
I almost bought there largest tractor but every time I went to rual king these tractors were always in their repair shop, and I thought there cant be that many people that dont know how to operate a tractor!. So i started researching there line of tractors and found out that they have a lot of problems with them and they are made in korea!, and that stopped my intrest in them!. So for some people they really like them and good for them, I whish them well with them!. Great video!.
I bought a 4600 ford tractor w/loader and a S185 Bobcat w/full cab and heat, both are used but in great shape!, 2,200 hrs on tractor, 900 hrs on bobcat, both 1 owner machines. I financed both with a commercial equipment lender to get good intrest rates and I kept the cost just under 30,000. I looked at a Kubota 5400 series and the price helped me make the decision on what I bought!.
I'm a retired equipment operator so I can dress our driveway up at different times that's a half mile long, pull logs out of the woods for firewood, move dirt on projects around our property and most importantly remove snow!. The tractor is for finish mowing 12 of our 30 acres and tilling the garden, I didnt really need the loader but I couldnt pass the tractor up!. We have a bobcat commercial zero turn to get all the small mowing done around the house!.

City boy never owned a tractor before looking to buy one of these shoes. Can the backhoe portion of this be taken off for like a box scrape, and or other implements?thanks again for the informative video.

I really enjoy my RK25 for almost a year now 69 hours on it , Im just like you i just cant make myself take the blue plastic off the floor board haa , Great video !
My RK 25 blew the shut off fuse at 6 hrs. Replaced it and it has been OK since. I can't trust it, however. Do you know what wire was pinched and where? Fixing it would give .e considerable piece of mind. Thanks for the videos, very informative.

Man you people are small, this tractor looks to be a pretty good size when I see it in videos with people running it, but when I go look at them they're fuckin small, I feel like a giant standing beside them.
If you don’t mind me asking which rk you bought your tractor from? I’m in ky as well and interested in an rk25 just wondering which one will be best for service and warranty stuff.
Does your loader have a quick dump feature on it? My 25 has two positions on the dump operation. First stop is regular dump speed and then fully pushed to the right it is supposed to be fast dump. It does not seem to change anything speed wise with the dumping of the bucket. Just wondering if that was the same with yours or anyone else that has one?
@@gatheringrusthobbyfarm8081 if I was able to post pictures I could of the owners manual for the loader. It has a picture of it in there. Another thing I really am not a fan of is the 3 point lift. If lifting slowly on the lever the hitch will jump up around an inch increments. From what I gathered this is an inching style of valve. Coming from an older JD that was smooth as silk coming up this is aggravating when doing dirt or gravel work. Otherwise still a nice tractor for the price.
@@jdboy9 are you saying that if you have the 3 point in the lowest position the pull the lever all the way up. It will go up an inch at a time and then stop each inch?
@@gatheringrusthobbyfarm8081 if you go from all the way down to all the way up fast it goes up normal without the jump. If from all the way down and come up slowly it will jump. Say you want to come up slow to feather out whatever you are doing back there. It won't come up smooth. At least mine is that way anyway.
Yes I did. The process was simple. I do know that they did change the rates since I purchased mine. It used to be one set rate. Now it is still a fixed rate but every person could get a different rate based on all of the factors.
I do not have a bush hog. I would say it depends on what you are cutting. If you have a bunch of saplings etc I would stick with a 4’. If you have just some tall grass you could probably do a 5’ flex hitch
